Oh, no… I’m upside down…
That was not a good moment, but I can’t thank the safety crew enough. They did an amazing job flipping the car back over. The last time I flipped, the bars crushed on my head. This time, I don’t think anything caved in or crushed at all. I appreciate what @NASCAR has done and thank you again to the @TALLADEGA safety team for getting me out of the car safely and quickly. There were some vicious hits in that pile up. I’m just happy to be alive.

Turnstile is, in 2026, the world’s biggest hardcore punk band by almost any measure.
Despite announcing the Washington Monument show two weeks earlier, organizers estimated that the benefit concert drew around 60,000 people. wapo.st/3VUeFTc

The @UofMaryland Athletics Department has agreed to First Amendment training with FIRE after two student journalists were reported to campus police for “suspicious activity” while trying to interview @umterps football players.
Student reporters should be able to do their jobs in public spaces without fear of unnecessary police encounters.
We appreciate Maryland Athletics’ willingness to address these concerns. Public universities — including their athletic departments — have a duty to protect press freedom, not intimidate those exercising it.
For @testudotimes, @JudeWilkenfeld and I were outside Jones-Hill House trying to get players to comment. An athletics staffer took pictures of us, and a police dispatch was called for suspicious activity; a cop and 2 cop cars pulled up, and officers ID’d us and asked us to leave.

More University of Maryland students told they can’t do their job as reporters. It’s a public sidewalk on a public university. Embarrassing for the athletics department.

Nearly 100,000 Americans lose their lives to blood clots each year— my husband Charles was one of them. This is a serious diagnosis that should be treated with caution and care.
My prayers are with @JalenHurts and his family. I’m wishing him the best for a speedy recovery.
