The great Paul Whitehouse is 68 years old today, which means I am obliged to post this (again!) - arguably the most majestically random but brilliant comedy sketch committed to celluloid for at least the last, what, forty, forty five years? Yes, forty, forty five years. Happy birthday Paul 🤘

Me: "Don't you dare" sounds perfectly normal but "do not you dare" sounds ridiculous which is insane because "don't" is a contraction for "do not." Doctor: I meant is anything bothering you physically

Hi, sorry to call at such short notice but our sketch artist has fallen ill, was wondering if you could step in, it says on your profile that you do sketch work... Well I normally only draw Giraffes but I guess how hard can it be, sure I'll do it.

£9m seems a lot when you could just pull out the irrefutable body of evidence but what do I know? 🤷🏻‍♂️
🚨BREAKING: Manchester City HIRE world-leading FRAUD LAWYER, Mark Howard, in their battle against the Premier League. Howard received £9M, reportedly the highest brief fee EVER paid to a barrister, for a separate case in 2023. His past clients include Roman Abramovich and Elton John.

City fans who are stupid enough to believe that the UAE’s royal family essentially committed international fraud because they care about that tinpot club, are the football equivalent of guys who believe the strippers really like them

Manchester City danced with their own notoriety at Anfield and embraced their shame. A club found guilty of cheating is prospering. It was another bad day for the English game dailymail.com/sport/football…

From a Facebook Group, Yorkshire Humour. ⚠️ A Sheffield man has praised Andy Burnham's new Google Maps fuel price feature after managing to save a whopping £1.60 on a tank of petrol! 😲 33 year old Phillip Patel spotted a petrol station selling fuel 4p a litre cheaper than his local garage and immediately made the 3 mile journey to fill up his tank! After completing the 6 mile round trip, the delighted motorist worked out that he'd spent 95p on petrol getting there and back, leaving him with a net saving of 65p! 🥂 To celebrate his newfound wealth, Phil treated himself to a Freddo bar. A luxury purchase he admits he probably wouldn't have made had it not been for the Fuel Map.

This platform has removed the offending tweet already (I think) but I'm going to leave this screen grab here simply to highlight the regular crap some of us have to endure for doing our jobs
Timely reminder of the compassion of some City fans and the sort of stuff journalists probing City have to endure.

Fair play, 28 £5k an hour Lawyers couldn’t save Man City from being found guilty but Scotty here tore it apart with one read through 🫡
So I've read the majority of the 40 page documents and there's more holes in it than a second hand dart board the whole fucking thing is just a mess i fear this will drag on for another 2 years and will only end with a high court ruling in the meantime fans and players will be abused on a daily basis I'm still leaning towards just taking the punishment then we can move forward i appreciate not many feel this way

One of my favorite things is getting locked out of an account for using the wrong password, having to reset the password, resetting it to what you thought your password was, then being told you can't use it because it was your previous password.

Zarah said recently that Jason Arday was driven to suicide and that his critics must pay. However she and others have driven Ed Sheeran to despair this week yet continue to be utterly unrelenting in their merciless bullying of him. The callous hypocrisy is off the charts.
Reading Robert Kraft’s script off a teleprompter, both-sidesing genocide and somehow casting himself as the victim in all of this. Spare us the crocodile tears. Ed Sheeran is a coward. Enjoy your blood-soaked millions.

Thirty years ago today, we woke up to the devastating news that Macclesfield Town Chairman Arthur Jones had tragically taken his own life. Arthur was an incredibly well-respected, decent man who unquestionably poured his heart and soul into our Football Club. His name is not only eternally woven into the fabric of our Football Club, but is also synonymous with one of the most successful periods in our history. Today, we remember a colossal figure who will never be forgotten. 🔗- macclesfieldfc.com/latest-ne…
