I didn’t even follow the results because like @captainkudzu , I knew what was coming. Let Democrats remember one thing: the massive rejection is of Trump, not all the policies. It’s him, not the things he promised. It’s him, all him. Republicans did exactly what Trump asked: they pretended he was on the ballot, and delivered a needed message to American politicians. Tying yourself to a criminally minded nascent tyrant with a mean streak, and a tendency to say and do dumb things, will result in your removal. Even if you’re related in the smallest way, you’re gone. Now send in someone who will do what they say. I hope Democrats don’t think they have a mandate for every nutty progressive idea they can cook up. This is about one man, and the message was delivered. @NewsRacket

I am glad to see that, so far, nearly every candidate in a major race who came up short has done the right and honorable thing and conceded their race. That is how it is supposed to be. Come back and fight harder in 2, 4, 6 years. No one likes losing…and no one especially like sore losers.
