Since everyone wants to be stupid about Stolas, I'd like to gently remind people that every time Blitz is emotionally hurt by someone else, he takes it as ENTITLEMENT to be AS AWFUL AND VILE AS HE PLEASES TO EVERYONE ELSE.
This is a toxic character flaw. Please acknowledge. :)

It really isn't. Blitz and Stolas is a very messy relationship, has been from the beginning, and they both did shitty things from the start.
Blitz broke into Stolas' home to steal an important book. When he was caught he takes advantage of Stolas misreading a signal to seduce him into sex to get out of a situation. So he broke in, tried to rob him, then lied to him.
Stolas then fucked up by offering access the book in exchange for Blitz coming back to do more sex. But, importantly, Stolas thought Blitz was into it. Again, *Blitz* is the one who brought sex into this.
Blitz doesn't get a pass because he's poor. He *chose* to do all this to gain access to the book and start a business. When Stolas made access to the book contingent on Blitz returning once a month for sex (which, again, Stolas thought Blitz was into), he could've just said...no.
Stolas also doesn't get a pass for misreading Blitz. The nature of their power dynamic should've been obvious, and it took him a year to see it.
Transactional with a bad power dynamic? Sure. Rape? No.
It is exceedingly easy to empathize with both, and we just had a whole episode devoted to laying all that out. How they both fucked up, hurt each other, misunderstood each other, all that.

just because a character voiced some point that you don't agree with doesn't mean the show wants you to agree with it and/or wants to fully defend a character's actions.

like this is obviously about the fact blitz initiated it first. the first sexual encounter they had was blitz having sex with stolas under false pretenses to rob him. people forget this i guess but stolas didnt do anything until that point that was blitz!! it was the first time

People who accuse stolas of manipulating blitz by crying must be lucky enough to not suffer from panic attacks. Blitz was insulting stolas all day, mind you, saying almost the same things Stella used to torment him with, so of course everything bubbled up into a breakdown.
YES. This. All of this. I thought it for a while, yet the way lots of fans talk feels like very little people actually realize/acknowledge this, so thanks for wording it better than I would have.
