🏆 Can Atletico Madrid WIN La Liga?
🇪🇸 With Atletico Madrid on a 7 game win streak in La Liga plus their MASSIVE improvements defensively , I don't think it's crazy to think Atleti could be challenging for the title right up until the very end!
If you had told me 10 years ago that Atleti would score a goal after a 1 minute straight spell of possession with 20 consecutive passes from defence to attack…
I would’ve said shut up and get back in the low block 😅
French football really did Grizi dirty ESPECIALLY with the captaincy once Lloris retired and I honestly think he’d have every right to have been outwardly disgruntled.
But he handled the situation with absolute class. Wasn’t petty on social media. No angry interviews. Just retired quietly to enjoy the rest of his club football.
🚨🚨 ANTOINE GRIEZMANN 🇫🇷 : « JE NE VEUX PLUS PARLER À PERSONNE. »
Grizou se mure dans le silence depuis sa retraite internationale. 😪
Il ne veut plus parler aux médias, mais on espère qu’il prendra la parole un jour

We could sign him for €2 mil in January. TWO MILLION! Should be an absolute no brainer if we can ship Sorloth off.
I know Atleti is interested in Camello (and I wouldn’t be against him) but Niño has an aerial presence that Camello doesn’t which. If he continues in this form, 2 million is a STEAL
Is it crazy that I’m actually inclined to agree with this?
I know it’s early in the season so there’s time for Simeone to revert back to old ways when the season gets tougher, but so far there has been such an insistence to defend from the front rather than sit back and absorb pressure- the calmness in the Espanyol game really opened my eyes to it properly

When Levantes latest sub came on I thought “Christ he looks like a kid” only to realise he’s LITERALLY 15???

A professional display from Atleti, grew into the game after a shaky opening 15 minutes but once they got going, there wasn’t much stopping it. Had we had some more luck in front of goal, it could’ve been double that scoreline but 2-0 is a fair result.
Now we go again for Bayern next week. Aupa!
I don’t understand how Barrios continues to surprise me but that touch and pass was UTTERLY beautiful. Can only think of a handful of players itw capable of doing it at that pace especially
I swear on my mother’s life, if we don’t win this game after ALL of these chances, im gonna boycott this club
Like WHY couldn’t they have made this the away kit? I don’t even care it’s a pretty direct copy of the 14/15 kit but it’s just infinitely better then those annoying horizontal lines
As nice as the goal was, I cannot stand this kit. In fact (and it’s kinda ironic that’s his celebration) it looks like a polo shirt you’d wear to golf not a football jersey
