My colleague @JamieDriscollNE on why Labour are still getting it wrong.
This is important. We need policies that get bills down, and we can do so whilst reducing our impact on the planet.
@TheGreenParty are the only party talking truth to power on this.
The government approved the Jackdaw gas field today.
It's sold at the world price, so won't make us secure. Retrofit and renewables would create more jobs and lower bills.

Regeneration is about more than attracting investment. It’s about improving lives in the communities we already call home.
There’s more to do on safer streets, jobs, training, inequality and household bills.
But working together gives us the best chance of making progress.
Big up to @MattWilliamsNGP for challenging the troubling MYTHS doing the rounds on asylum seekers being prioritised for council housing.
Misinformation like this is making it harder to build consent for housebuilding, and is dividing communities.
