Had my first free weekend in a while, so I finally checked out the Microduck frenzy. I also had an old Hexapod project lying around. So I trained… this beauty. Should've spent more time asking whether I should, rather than whether I could.

Should Europe leave frontier AI to the Americans and the Chinese? The idea has gained ground in Europe. It is a fundamental mistake. Build or surrender: for now, the choice is still ours. Full article below.

What a night in Paris. 150+ builders joined us for our 4th edition of Paris Hardware Meetup, this time focused on Space. From propulsion and satellites to orbital infrastructure, Europe is building. Huge thanks to everyone who came and connected. luma.com/Paris-hardware-meet…

Plugging connectors is probably one of the hardest tasks in Robotics at the moment, but also one of the most interesting problems to work on. Customers aren't asking us to move cubes around or pile up bowls. Early results, but we have a good recipe now 🧑‍🍳

Working on the wiring while Claude is writing a piece of software and a part is being 3D printed. All from a desk made of a wooden plank laid across two trestles. What a fantastic time to work in Robotics!

6 months ago we started "Paris Hardware Meetup" after meeting the team behind the SF ones. 400 registrants at each event, the energy and desire to build is incredible. Today someone texted me "Found a job at your meetup, thanks for organizing it." What an incredible feeling!

Full color 3D printing has been either too expensive or too difficult to do. Our mission at Noku is to solve this! Join us and help build the future of 3D printing! youtu.be/mcHxiI0RArM?si=6t0g…

Introducing WireBird Aerospace. Autonomous drones that perch, recharge, and relaunch from powerlines. We’re building a system that turns existing electrical infrastructure into a charging network for drones. Utility corridors, highways, farms, and remote infrastructure could be monitored by drones that recharge from the lines they follow. We just built 8 prototypes in 6 weeks. We’re hiring builders obsessed with robotics and energy. Our belief: autonomous systems should power themselves, travel farther, and operate without waiting to return home.

We built an autonomous robot in 4 weeks! Solar is the cheapest way to generate electricity, but operations do not scale. We bring automation to the solar market to solve this problem. Come see us this afternoon at Founders Inc Fort Mason for a live demo!

I traveled over 30 different countries so I could build this. This is Trucy, your AI travel agent. She handles the Flights, Hotel, Visas, E-SIMs etc. You just take the trip. No AI slop guaranteed. Link in comments.

Training your robot should be easier than training your dog. Until now it took weeks, a PhD, and plugging together many tools. Today this became much faster⚡️ Book a demo now ⬇️

4 weeks ago we brought 200 founders to our campus They came from all over the world. Japan, India, Russia, Korea, New Jersey, Canada & 30+ other countries They've built: - Autonomous solar farm maintenance robots - Hearing aids that cost $20 instead of $4700 - Protein engineering that costs $10K instead of $200K - An autonomous retention engine for companies - An algorithm that finds tumors - Insurance for AI agents - Disk free infinite cloud storage that requires no upload - A headband that amplifies your REM sleep brainwaves - AI that finds & schedules the best talent for interviews - Robots that stock retail shops - Underwater drones to clean fish farms & about 100 more ambitious companies like this. Next Friday we're hosting a Festival/Demo Day to showcase their progress and celebrate startups solving real problems. We believe in founders that care, are obsessed with their solution, & never stop relentlessly building. If you feel the same way. Come through lu. ma/Festival
