Should Europe leave frontier AI to the Americans and the Chinese?
The idea has gained ground in Europe. It is a fundamental mistake.
Build or surrender: for now, the choice is still ours.

Introducing WireBird Aerospace.
Autonomous drones that perch, recharge, and relaunch from powerlines.
We’re building a system that turns existing electrical infrastructure into a charging network for drones.
Utility corridors, highways, farms, and remote infrastructure could be monitored by drones that recharge from the lines they follow.
We just built 8 prototypes in 6 weeks.
We’re hiring builders obsessed with robotics and energy.
Our belief: autonomous systems should power themselves, travel farther, and operate without waiting to return home.

I traveled over 30 different countries so I could build this.
This is Trucy, your AI travel agent.
She handles the Flights, Hotel, Visas, E-SIMs etc. You just take the trip.
No AI slop guaranteed. Link in comments.

4 weeks ago we brought 200 founders to our campus
They came from all over the world. Japan, India, Russia, Korea, New Jersey, Canada & 30+ other countries
They've built:
- Autonomous solar farm maintenance robots
- Hearing aids that cost $20 instead of $4700
- Protein engineering that costs $10K instead of $200K
- An autonomous retention engine for companies
- An algorithm that finds tumors
- Insurance for AI agents
- Disk free infinite cloud storage that requires no upload
- A headband that amplifies your REM sleep brainwaves
- AI that finds & schedules the best talent for interviews
- Robots that stock retail shops
- Underwater drones to clean fish farms
& about 100 more ambitious companies like this.
Next Friday we're hosting a Festival/Demo Day to showcase their progress and celebrate startups solving real problems.
We believe in founders that care, are obsessed with their solution, & never stop relentlessly building.
If you feel the same way. Come through

Smart Earbuds with built-in camera and AI embedded
I've always hated smart glasses because I don't want to look at more screens
So I built Ordo:
- ask anything to a local ai and hear answers instantly
- takes photos of your life hands-free, just by speaking
- remembers everything you say from your grocery list to meeting notes & brings it up later
- Integrated with your major apps you use everyday - slack, notion, gmail…….more
Your assistant that can see, hear and talk to you effortlessly, just blended in your everyday life without you realizing
I'm calling it Ordo! Take a look:

→ Sentiment widget: short / mid / long-term views side by side, each with its justification
→ Activity tab: full event timeline per execution, with filters, sorting, ticker logos
→ Live tab rebuilt: pending orders, real-time uPnL%, no more 50-trade cap
→ CSV export for trades and orders
→ Real vs. demo execution clearly labeled on every agent

feels good to win
1st place at the AMD Open Robotics Hackathon in Paris, together with Xiao Feng and Nicolas Rodriguez
in 48 hours we built a package sorting pipeline with:
- two SO101 arms
- a conveyor belt made with parts from an old 3d printer
- a computer vision system
- lots of duct-tape engineering
first arm places the packages on the conveyor belt
second arm flips the packages when the barcode isn't visible, then sorts them
we had a few moments where we weren't sure we'd make it, but pushed through. one hour before the deadline our sorting policy behaved strangely. Nico checked the data and found my shoes were always in the overhead camera frame. turns out the policy had learned to rely on me standing in a specific spot next to the robot!
we trained 3 separate policies (picking, flipping, sorting), fine-tuned from SmolVLA. for smooth switching between the policies, we took inspiration from the real-time chunking (RTC) execution pattern in LeRobot: we run two threads for each arm, the first thread runs inference and pushes actions to a queue, the second thread drains the queue and sends commands to the robot. the inference thread can swap policies without disrupting execution on the robot.
more in the repo linked below
i'm proud of the team and really enjoyed my time at the hackathon and in Paris ❤️
