Random Bomas Question… If the intention is not to siphon public funds, why hide the contract?
1. This Bomas contract is an example of why shiny things are not showing up in GDP growth numbers… they are so overpriced that they are likely negative in terms of return to the people of Kenya… the spend is too much relative to the productivity.
2. Why spend 45 billion on a conferencing facility instead of, say, in irrigation schemes and water pans all over the country to ensure food security?
3. And if the intention is not to siphon public funds, why hide the contract?

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has urged President William Ruto's administration to broaden Kenya's tax base rather than raise rates.
