Jaylen McClain is getting the NATIONAL respect he deserves: • The Athletic: 2nd-team All-American • On3: 2nd-team All-American • 2 INT — tied 2nd in B1G • 6 PBUs — 6th in B1G • 32 tackles — 3rd on OSU • Strip-sack vs Indiana He's doing more than cleaning up tackles.

Ohio State's safety duo has become a national strentgh. Ohio State's safety duo is quietly elite: • McClain: 91.5 PFF season tackling grade — #1 nationally • Little: 83.0 tackling grade vs IU • Both played all 72 defensive snaps • 70 combined season tackles • 8 combined PBUs They've become the defense's backbone.

This is a great video of dudes being DUDES. I really enjoyed seeing what Patricia was deploying vs. Indiana. That safety blitz was diabolical. Thank you for answering my prayers. Overall a lot to build around Jay Timmons is a ♟️👀 🎥 @OhioStateStats

Jay Timmons has completely elevated this DB room. Losing Caleb Downs last year left us wondering who’d step up as “that dude” in the secondary. Never expected a freshman to walk in and claim that title. This kid is special.

Jay being 18-years-old seems unfathomable. Best player on the field for Ohio State yesterday not named Jeremiah.
