I’ve just come to the conclusion that midterm elections are impossible to predict to a T. Especially because this is the first major cycle in a post-Trump era, and you could make a case either way for how all of the key Senate races go.
The only people who nailed 2022 were Democrat wishcasters, although it's true that the fundamentals they chose to analyze were correct. If we apply those now, GOP is favored in swing races and barely loses the House. But if we say all the usual suspects go Tilt R, and they end up Tilt D, apparently that would be considered wishcasting as well. Honest truth is that nobody knows anything, just vote.

Texas and America are being plundered.
The University of Texas reserves 90% of freshman admissions for Texas residents. But “Texas resident” does NOT mean American citizen.
Under current rules, children of foreign workers on certain temporary visas can qualify for those same seats after their parents establish just 12 months of Texas residency.
As Texans, we fund our public universities. The children of Texas parents who have spent their adult lives paying Texas taxes should receive first priority for admission.
Our children’s futures should come first.
