🚨Hilary Cass has called for an independent inquiry into how Brighton GPs were allowed to prescribe cross-sex hormones to children as young as 12.“There urgently needs to be an investigation of why every system that should have protected children, young people, and indeed young adults has failed,” she told me.
The employment tribunal between Dr Sarah Redvers and NHS Sussex has highlighted how regulators and the NHS collectively failed to stop prescribing of puberty blockers and hormones against national guidelines - for years - and how instead the person raising concerns was accused of transphobia and herself investigated.
Dr Redvers sat down with me for her only newspaper interview about her treatment in a scandal which, Cass now says, “dwarfs” that of the Tavistock’s GIDS.

WHAT A SHOCKER! Beth, now Lis, causing trouble in a hospital in NSW.
Well said @salltweets
‘‘A doctor who refuses to acknowledge the reality of biological sex is putting themselves and their patients in a precarious position.
If it is being done to validate the doctor’s own identity, it just makes the situation even more sinister.’
A hospital staff member said: ‘It should now be very clear why Dr Upton wanted to come to work in Australia. Our laws, as they stand, mean he is regarded as a woman here.

Please watch. While the Conversion Practices Bill is not initially going to cover Scotland, @Scotgov have indicated they wish to adopt this Bill. Excellent debate. Get informed and speak to your MPs & MSPs to tell them the faults in this Bill & Scotland does not want it
Due to popular demand we've published our first #BattleFest full debate early:

It was always a matter of time before the male Dr that Sandie Peggie had to confront in the female changing rooms repeated his behaviour. He's now in Aus ('Lis Upton'), a country that embraces self ID. A dangerous place for female patients. @Ahpra archive.is/MeiPI

Lord Forst is absolutely correct. Any articulation of the fact biological sex exists and “gender identity” is a faith concept would become a risky thing to say if the Conversion Practices bill becomes law.

This is every bit as powerful and crystal clear as we would expect. Thank you, @jk_rowling , for everything you do for us. The women that favour gender ID over feminism will soon realise that you do it for them too, regardless. I could not love you more:

🚨 BREAKING: A male NHS nurse says he’s received four nominations for awards that celebrate women working in healthcare - including ‘Women’s Champion of the Year’.
Jia Palis Amada said being “embraced as a woman” was already an award in itself.
The awards are organised by emap - in association with Nursing Times.
Helen Joyce of Sex Matters called the nominations “deeply insulting” to women.

Miller v Chief Constable @LincsPolice & @ukhomeoffice Nov 2026. High Court. Leeds
I have a criminal record. For stalking. With hate markers. The victim is a former police officer, dismissed for Gross Misconduct.
To clarify. This is an actual criminal record. I have a criminal record. And I was given it without being interviewed, informed, questioned, or charged; the CPS were not involved, and there was no magistrate, judge or jury. The Chief Constable just gave it to me because it is in his gift to do so. Because the Home Secretary says he can.

This is a really good example of how clear & understandable the EHRC Guidance is. Following it in a respectful, polite kind of way is exactly how it should be done. The only people complaining that the guidance is confusing are the ones outraged they have to follow the rules.

Many will remember the fiasco of screengate at my hearing. Why have activist complainants suddenly got the right to be treated as the most vulnerable victims? This makes a mockery of open justice.

The #ConversionPracticesDraftBill has the potential to destroy any relationship between parents and school.
Many schools have activist teachers pushing the ‘you may be born in the wrong body’ ‘it is possible to change sex’ mantra on children.

Andrea Egan won her position after only 7% (SEVEN
PER CENT) of eligible members voted. The position becomes vacant in 2031. If women want sensible, sane general secretaries leading their unions in future, we must start encouraging much greater voter participation

Once again: when a so-called “trans man” gives birth, it’s not proof that men can give birth, it’s proof that “trans men” are women.

I went to this session with a fairly bog standard left wing 'stay and make a noise' argument. I'm still not convinced that's entirely wrong. But I was struck by the number of women ex-trade unionists who spoke about the depths of betrayal, disrespect, and even contempt that they've faced. I think many union leaders are isolated from their members by a kind of crisis of internal democracy - they live in a bubble and they don't have any real conception of the antipathy that is felt towards them both by women members and this who have left. This is really serious. And really bad for the labour movement.
So, reflecting.
A discussion about the failure of unions in the face of GC harassment.
@DarlingtonUnion's Bethany's talk amazing. She ended with unions have abandoned us to let's rebuild.
@RosieDuffield1 smash the unions? Yes.
@runthinkwrite distinguish between leadership and role of trade unionists "I don't need an additional HR department that I pay subs to for them to police my views"
@JimButcher2 had to leave the union for moral grounds because of their support for harming children. Set up a branch of Academics for Academic Freedom.
