Better transport was once considered the result of development, but today, it has become the foundation of development, said Shri @mlkhattar in his valedictory address at the 19th Urban Mobility India Conference-cum-Exhibition 2026, held under the theme “Urban Accessibility and Liveability in the Digital Age.” The event was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Government of Odisha. He also presented awards to winners across various categories in recognition of excellence in urban transport. Highlighting India’s urban mobility transformation under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, Shri Manohar Lal emphasised Integration, Inclusiveness and Intelligence (3-I) as the key pillars of future-ready urban transport. He underscored the need for seamless connectivity, accessible public transport and smart technologies to build sustainable, inclusive and liveable cities.
