The uncomfortable part of AI progress: newer can mean more capable and less robust at the same time. White Circle’s RISE work found newer image models were easier to jailbreak than the versions they replaced. “Safety is not monotonic across model releases” is probably the cleanest way to say it.

Does Google have an unspoken rule “Never outshine the master”? Only that explains shitty broken experience. Whoever leads Gemini iOS app needs to be fired and young blood needs to be given leadership. Argon serves me html unless abused & threatened and can’t even identify cars.
