I was at Cornell in 1992 when multiparty was legalised and section 2A repealed. Hon Kenneth Matiba attended the graduation ceremony. Most Kenyans was euphoric that Baba Moi will be beaten. I laughed it off and told them President Moi will win hands down...the rest is history.

Decades ago Samora Machel once warned Africans the colonizers will come back again not using the gun but as "investors". All these "aid", we are being given come with strings attached. When you hear politicians say Kiambu is not part of Mt Kenya, that's just part of the narrative being built up. Soon it will be like the West Cape in South Africa where they want to segregate themselves from the rest of the country. Keep welcoming these foreigners
