*clears throat* *taps mic* Tax the fucking churches.
A whistleblower says the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ investment firm has over $100 billion – more than any religious fund in America. Instead of doing good, the church is bending the law, said a whistleblower. 60 Minutes reports, Sunday.

To be clear, I mean any religious organization that holds investments or properties outside of purely religious/educational nonprofit endeavors should be taxed like any other organization.

Or maybe people just like working at vineyards?
My head canon is that the reason Picard works at his family’s vineyard despite the federation being post scarcity is that tourists from all human planets like having all this stuff preserved as kitsch. “A real French guy making real French wine, just like in ye olden days” All of Earth is like this

BREAKING: The US Army is now training soldiers to dig mass battlefield graves for American troops for the first time since the Korean War, practicing the burial of 2,400 bodies in under 24 hours in open pits, per a US Army release. Engineers, preventive medicine teams, chaplains and fatality management specialists excavated and filled burial trenches without damaging mock remains, so forensic teams could unearth and repatriate them after a conflict, simulating how to handle mass casualties as Trump's Iran war continues. The Army said that for more than twenty years in Iraq and Afghanistan, US air superiority allowed remains to be flown home quickly, and that future conflicts may not have the same capabilities.
