This guy passed on Tuesday. His friends didn’t find his body until Friday. He had a seizure and no one was there to find him. He ended up drowning on his spit. Yall make sure you have some kind of buddy system and someone who can check on you if you live alone. Make sure at least one of your friends have access to your home in case of emergencies. 🫶🏿

I've begged my elderly parents to move in with us. No downsize to a safer house. No. Move closer to us. No. Now Dad's in the hospital, Mom needs a ride home and someone to stay overnight, and I have to work tomorrow and get my kids ready for school. This was entirely preventable. I've offered every reasonable solution, and they've refused them all. Older generations, you cannot insist on doing everything your way and then expect your adult children to rearrange their lives to make it work…
