Even if you yourself don't care about honouring the dead or think the other two endings is better. I just don't think it's the right thing to do. For as long as the reapers exist in any form, they're a threat
Replying to @adriana_vachita
How does it not. Countless lives in every cycle have given their lives for the single goal of stopping the reapers.
I don't think you're honouring the sacrifice of anyone the reapers twisted and harvested if you don't put a permanent stop to them and rid the galaxy of them
Replying to @V10l3tL1ghtn1in @T_Clark39
Not really.
The Ai kinda specify iirc. It is not Shep. It will "honour" their legacy but considering this is technically the same Ai who betrayed the leviathan. Too many variables. A unstoppable galactic guardian is only good until you realise you are never truly safe
Replying to @OnlyPrim7 @elakalaiset
I also don't think following in and justifying the horrific experiment TIM or Saren did is right.
Anderson was right imo. The only way to truly free the galaxy is to destroy them
Replying to @elakalaiset
Personally I don't think any ending in which the reapers survive is good.
Destroy leads to sacrifices but it free the galaxy from the reaper threat forever. And doesn't require you to change the entire galaxy just to coexist with the very thing that see you as cattle
Replying to @The_Memeries
Yea the Leviathan Ai shouldn't be trusted.
It has every reason to lie. And whilst it may have been telling the truth. Shepard surviving proves that not all synthetic life died. Since as it said. Shepard is held together by whatever Cerberus did
Replying to @Marksmen16 @JamberxX
Idk how they would have managed it though ultimately it a shame we will never know
Replying to @V10l3tL1ghtn1in
I suppose we agree to disagree.
Either way I find all the endings pretty lame especially how they had to add a catch to the destroy ending even with max readiness
Replying to @KaasiteFemboy
Exactly!
A lot of people are hung up about the synthetic life point in destroy. But it such a vague concept.
Replying to @IDAQGFY
They all have pros and con.
But imo like Shep said.
We proved them wrong. You can bring peace to the geth and qurians.
And it should be organics right to deal with that crossroad when it happens.
Replying to @adriana_vachita
It's not just previous cycles. It also about this cycle.
If I was turned into a husk or someone I knew, I wouldn't want to know they're still "alive" under the control of the reaper Ai. Shepard or not.
Replying to @ATrickyNixon
Anderson was always a father to Shepard. And the only one there not blinded by power.
Replying to @JamieCharlesEl1
Yet what they are still exist.
Every poor human turned into a husk.
The countless civilization turned into. Reapers. Imo it the right choice to let them die. Otherwise you're inevitable supporting the illusive man experiment or Saren
Replying to @CrabSully94
This.
No equal. No compromised.
Either we die. Or the reapers. There is no safety underneath the shadows of the reapers
Replying to @V10l3tL1ghtn1in
True. However. I don't agree with letting the atrocity that the reapers are live.
All their victims that were harvested or turned into abomination deserve to finally rest and not continue to be enslaved
Replying to @OnlyPrim7 @CraigNellist
Which is still devastating yes.
The geth especially.
But I will take that option 100x over before admitting the illusive man or Saren were right.
A galaxy free of the reapers permanent is my only goal
Replying to @CraigNellist
The reapers however still live.
Whether or not they are now under the control of a new AI is irrelevant to me. The atrocity they committed and the species they twisted into abomination still live, now just forced to serve under a new intelligence that was once Shepard.
Replying to @CraigNellist
Not all technology gets destroyed. Since we see that humanity and many other species are rebuilding relatively soon afterwards.
The blast however destroys all synthetic life and has a general emp effect by how it effected the Normandy
Replying to @Arcthefallen113
Exactly.
I won't let his death be in vain by agreeing that the illusive man plan was right all along.
