Here's my take on this idea. I removed the C on the forehead, made the buffalo face to the left, fixed the shape to vaguely resemble the letter C, and made his nose more rectangular to vaguely resemble the state of Colorado. What do you think?
As someone who has done some branding and logos I think the C on the buffalos face is a mistake and makes it look kind of AI because it just doesnt make much sense. What I would change: 1. Remove the C on the forehead 2. Turn the buffalo to face the other way 3. Make the silhouette of the buffalo a C and have that element added while being able to maintain the mountain elements and such.

Nathan Fielder says he and Lance Oppenheim kept disagreeing on what was happening with Elizabeth Holmes so they decided the confusion itself was the story "when I met her, um I remember having this weird experience that I sort of like talk about in there where I’m like she seems so like genuine at times, but then I’m like, ‘No, I’m clocking like tracking my thoughts and being like, “Okay, I know she’s a liar.”’ So, I I couldn’t really It was a weird like mental thing" "it wasn’t until we started shooting that moments would happen, some of them that are in the film, and then after Lance and I would talk about what we thought happened there, and we’d be completely disagree on what something meant to us or what we thought was happening. And then we were like, ‘Oh, this is a really interesting if we can’t agree on what’s happening, there’s something here’" "every person that worked on this movie was going through a similar like feeling of cognitive dissonance where we would we would unpack the day’s events, and no one could agree on like the seemingly mundane moments that have that were that would transpire. Everyone had a different point of view" "we said to A24, like, ‘We cannot promise we’ll deliver anything on this. We don’t know what the story is, but we wanted to just see what will happen if we go with cameras.’ And they were like, ‘Okay, that’s fine. And if you want to pull the plug anytime, you can do it’"

been trying to explain to people that this is an Akira level magnitude of filmmaking glad I wasn’t the only one who picked up on that
I saw Wildwood in theaters yesterday and my honest opinion is this film is so artistically breathtaking that it should be seen by everybody and talked about in the history of cinema forever because, visually, this movie is the stop-motion equivalent of Akira

Travis Knight’s words harken back to Don Bluth’s philosophy. “Kids can handle scary and intense stories, so long as there’s a happy ending.”
Travis Knight says WILDWOOD (2026), LAIKA’s first PG-13 film, refused to shy away from the brutal realities of violence, loss and grief. The director believes modern cinema often underestimates younger audiences, arguing that children deserve stories that take their emotions seriously rather than shielding them from every difficult subject. “Modern cinema generally tends to talk down to young audiences. But young people experience loss. They know what it’s like to feel afraid.” Knight says the violence was never meant to be glorified, but to show its traumatic consequences. The goal was to tell an honest story that earns its moments of hope by confronting darkness rather than watering it down. (Via: nytimes.com/2026/10/24/movie…)

"AI is just another tool in the toolkit of the artist."
Wildwood opened with $11M, and yet they spent $100M while shouting “F**k AI” from the rooftops. I appreciate the craft they put into this and I’m sure it will go down as an all-time stop motion classic, but there’s no need to hate on other art forms. They used a lot of technology for this film, including special camera rigs and 3d printers, Maya and AutoCAD. Why didn’t Laika hire hand-carvers for the 142,000 face plates instead of 3D printing them? Obviously because that would be infeasible and very expensive. All advancements in technology have broadened the frontier of the stories humans can tell. AI is just another tool in the toolkit of the artist.

It’s normal tourist shit but it’s bucket list for everyone… You gotta go see the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The state of Utah also has five national parks so definitely worth a visit as well. And you’ll get good college football in both states.
