These guys did something amazing: put Italy on Solana's map, and Solana on Italy's map 🎯 There's now an official group supporting builders and community members in Italy. Insane level of passion, keep them on your radar. Shoutout to @2140samuel @gianlucabruno3 @CerveFi @L0STE_ 🎩
>have only two days for RSVPs >double the expected people show >give up on scanning tickets because of how many people show up @superteam is a cheat code. Co-founding @superteamITA at 24 is a dream come true (even with no hair left).🇮🇹 bullish on the team.❤️

TVL stopped being the general-purpose signal a while ago. Parked capital just doesn't say much about whether a protocol is used. Every vertical now has its own proof of life, and for credit it's origination and repayment history. What the Pareto team is building sits on the right side of that shift. Impressive work 👏
$3,000,000,000 in credit extended through Pareto. $3B of financing provided to institutional borrowers, backed by lenders earning real yield onchain. The credit layer keeps compounding.

If better execution comes at the cost of fragmented liquidity or UX, it’s not better execution. Real infra is the one users don't notice. @OpenBitLab on building the engine for Solana @perps:

Underrated post. It nails the elephant in the room: - building a full perp dex takes time and deep know-how, even with unlimited money. The only real shortcut is partnering with (or acquiring) one that already works - you can build the best tech, but distribution matters most, and takers are the scarcest resource in crypto. I'd add a third point: - outside Hyperliquid, very few have cracked retention, which matters even more than distribution. Money buys exposure across channels; it doesn't buy a sustainable, organic reason for users to come back
Lighter x Robinhood is a huge W for the team, and honestly a really smart move Distribution is the main problem in crypto. If you're not first to a category, it takes a ton of effort just to grab a decent slice of market share. First movers, especially the successful ones, kind of end up monopolizing the space (not using that in a bad way) So why am I writing this? Because I want to break down the actual problem of growing a product while competing against the leaders already sitting in the market. Let's look at where users actually come from in crypto. Where do you get your users? (1) Wallets - Rabby, Zerion, Phantom, Backpack, Metamask, and the rest. When any user comes into crypto, especially onchain, the wallet is the first thing they touch. Wallets have made a ton of money off retail tx flow, gas fee subsidies, RPC provider deals, you name it. And trust me, your favorite wallet isn't doing a TGE unless the core business stops being profitable enough and they need a token as a marketing tool to keep the income flowing. The token becomes the exit, the last breath of air for the product (in most of the cases). (2) Exchanges - comparable market share to wallets here. This is the point where a user buys crypto, withdraws onchain, and actually starts their journey. You've probably noticed the deals wallets and exchanges cut to integrate Hyperliquid, Polymarket, Kalshi directly into their apps, so the user never has to go looking, the solution is already sitting right there. You might ask, why not just build it themselves and keep all the fees? Simple answer: building in crypto isn't easy, even with unlimited resources it still takes real time and effort. And if your product only pulls from your existing userbase, you can't outcompete anyone. Clone Polymarket and users won't bother betting on your version unless you're offering something genuinely different. Build another perp dex and you're just going to be worse than the competitors on most criteria. So instead, they solve it by striking deals with the popular projects, and the network effect does the rest. Wallets have the users, users want whatever everyone else is already using, and now it's just sitting there integrated directly, whether that's a prediction market, a perp dex, or whatever app comes next. The @Lighter_xyz case Say you've built a genuinely good product, zero fees, some real differentiators (not shilling here, just making the point that Lighter isn't another Hyperliquid copy paste). You've got solid backing too. But how do you actually reach users? What's the growth strategy? How do you become the next step after someone touches a wallet or exchange? Marketing posts on X aren't bringing in millions of users. Look at where Lighter stood. Good product, but Hyperliquid is everywhere, integrated into basically every wallet you can name. So where do new users, actual users of your product, come from? Vampire airdrops don't work anymore. Hyperliquid already takes the best partnership deals, and you don't have the leverage to replace them. That's where Robinhood comes in, a financial services company known for pioneering commission free trading across stocks, ETFs, options, and crypto through its app and web platform. Huge retail base, and one that skews young and wants an easy, accessible product inside the app rather than through a broker or anything more traditional. Every other door was basically closed, but Robinhood lines up perfectly with what Lighter needed, and it created the ideal ground for the deal. Lighter was named the official perps partner of @RobinhoodCrypto and will be integrated directly into the Robinhood wallet. For Robinhood, that solves the headache of building their own perp dex: liquidity, sequencing, liquidations, tech stack, fees, logic, and the GTM problem of doing it outside their own app. They get instant exposure to an already built, capable product like Lighter, complete with the zero fee angle, as if it were their own. And for Lighter, it solves the one thing every project struggles with: a steady, constant inflow of new users. Web3 has matured to the point where the real key to growing a project is finding the right partnership, one that's mutually beneficial and actually solves a real problem for both sides. And this doesn't stop at prediction markets and perp dexes. I know a lot of people have started losing faith in the agentic meta, but we honestly haven't seen anywhere close to what it's capable of yet. The work is happening behind the curtain to line up the right partnerships. Imagine your agent, living inside your banking app, your wallet, your exchange, whatever, finding the perfect window for a vacation using weather data, picking the destination, booking flights for you and your partner, booking the hotel through a booking app, and laying out a day by day plan based on your preferences and budget. Sounds like a dream for now. That won't be the case for long. Build.

No new stablecoins issuers really competed with Tether/Circle, but this list of partners and the profit sharing approach might be game-changer. And Solana is clearly the ecosystem where USDC dominance can be challenged first
BREAKING: Open USD is launching natively on Solana from day one. A new shared stablecoin, owned and governed by its partners. No mint or redeem fees, no volume caps, and nearly all the reserve economics flow back to the businesses building it.

CEX-scale volume. RWAs. Tokenized equities. Institutional capital. Stablecoins. Payments. Solana has become the home of internet capital markets. As our ecosystem matures, the next phase is about the execution quality these markets demand, especially when it comes to @perps. @OpenBitLab explains:

Does it mean that Solana is no longer the memecoin chain and officially became the Open Finance chain?
Narrative violation... Tokenized assets just flipped memes in Solana spot volume. On June 23, tokenized assets were 17% of @solana spot volume vs. memes at 12%

Small market builders are struggling on Hyperliquid, but they are welcome on Solana @perps Great analysis by @shaundadevens

We dropped a new piece covering product-first pain points for perps traders (and where actually our efforts are), which is the outcome of several direct interviews, reports and feedback gathered from multiple sources. @toly @ethtwit @moonshiesty @kdotcrypto @minnus @mango_ many things require answers that go beyond which L1 is used because they are at product level and not strictly depending on the infrastructure. Future has still to be built for Solana perps, and I wonder if solving those pains points will be enough to justify the massive user shift we envision from CEXs, which is the real target at the end
