A sneak-peek of Superman I did in 2022, based on an earlier version I made in the early 2010s. One-day I’ll finish my African irl religions, architecture and culture illustrations AND my other projects. But I’ll be 32 this month and I’m still poor. 😞 Back in college at least…😞
The wrong gender symbol for Anansi was a mistake (I've always known Anansi is male). I noticed the mistake the day I uploaded this art piece. But I never bothered to upload the fix until now. I'm not really an artist anymore.

She isn't naked or "semi-naked". Genitalia isn't showing. Not all Africans are the same nor are all Muslims. Africa is diverse & so is its traditional pre-colonial clothing. Be educated. There is nothing immoral about what she is wearing. Dinka, Zulu, Akan etc
An environment & characters wip. hopefully, I'll get to it one day. allot of references to Bakongo pre-Christian native religion with the staff, And the character's hair which is based on Zulu indigenous native-hair styles. His height being Mbuti genetics.
a very very old piece of artwork that references the fact, that the original designs of the first cartoon characters were of minstrel-shows = the tradition of ridiculing African descent bodies. A tie in theme of my African-architecture educational cartoon
all hand made.... An anti-fascism project. another long list of personal projects that I just don't have time for. As an artist, you finish one project, but your imagination & passion are always gonna be faster than the time you have in a day, the time you have being alive.

She explains it much better. Lost-in-translation convenience over accuracy. Her channel often discusses, Yoruba words/ideas that have (at worst) been corrupted by European words & assumptions.
