Welcome! I am an independent journalist covering critical topics concerning Israeli democracy. While Israel is enduring ongoing political instability, it is important to have a reliable source, a voice that will capture the true course of events, and not just the one seen in MSM.

Tens of thousands gathered in Tel Aviv tonight demanding the establishment of an official State Commission of Inquiry into the massive governmental failures leading to and following the Oct 7th massacre. Citizens are demanding change, 3 days ahead of the general election. They are demanding a government that will rebuild and repair the damage caused by Netnayahu and his coalition. According to latest polls, the majority of Israelis support political parties opposing Netanyahu. We are not our government. Drone footage: Amir Goldstein

For those who thought Bibi was joking about โ€œSuper Spartaโ€: he wasnโ€™t. Ynet has published his rambling remarks about the need to prepare for sanctions, with blockchain floated as a solution. Itโ€™s hard to believe this isnโ€™t an April Foolsโ€™ joke. He understands that his far-right bedfellows, who promise expulsion and death, will bring sanctions down on Israel. And he seems to have accepted this vision and embraced it, just as Putin, Khamenei and Kim. All of them knew their policies would end in sanctions and isolation. None of those countries was a democracy. Israelโ€™s future is at stake in these elections, and so is the future of the Palestinians and of the entire Middle East. If you have friends and loved ones who can vote, call them now. Urge them to go out and vote for any of the parties that have pledged not to join a coalition with Netanyahu. Itโ€™s time.

Netanyahu, the failed prime minister who reduced Israel to pariah status, embraces his own undoing. He promises Israelis a "bypass economy," a rogue existence based on crypto and blockchain. For real. This lunacy must end. @roy_katz

Exclusive: On September 13, 2023, just weeks before October 7, the head of Israel's Shin Bet asked to appear before the Knesset's subcommittee on intelligence and secret services, a highly unusual step. There, he warned that a multi-front war was imminent. This came two months after Ronen Bar had delivered a formal "war warning" to Prime Minister Netanyahu and opposition leader Yair Lapid. He went to the subcommittee because he saw that Israel's government leadership was ignoring him. Netanyahu's supporters have argued that the warnings from military intelligence and the Shin Bet, which were admittedly general, were essentially a political ploy to stall the Knesset votes on the government's judicial overhaul. Yet two months later, with that pretext gone, they were still sounding the alarm.Granted, these were strategic warnings. Nobody said an invasion from Gaza is coming. The details shown to lawmakers are classified. But here is the title of the Shin Bet chief's presentation to them: "The Perfect Storm."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, seeking an unprecedented seventh term, has placed the blame on national security officials, while his critics have said he must personally answer for the failures. When the Israeli daily Haaretz, reported earlier this month that Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, the president of the United Arab Emirates, had given Mr. Netanyahu a secret warning that Hamas was planning a major attack, the question took on even greater urgency. Mr. Netanyahu has denied the report. But a person who said they had spoken with Sheikh Mohammed and another person who said they had been briefed by someone on the call between the two leaders told The New York Times that the Emirati leader had secretly reported to Mr. Netanyahu that Hamas was considering a major attack. nytimes.com/2026/09/25/worldโ€ฆ

Einav Zangauker, whose son Matan was held hostage in Hamas captivity for 738 days, had this to say about Netanyahuโ€™s speech at the UN General Assembly today: โ€œI am watching Netanyahu yet again boast about bringing all the hostages home, and I cannot stop my tears for the families of the hostages whom he refused to bring home, those who were murdered in captivity. The families of Carmel Gat, Ori Danino, Haim Perry, Itay Svirsky, and so many others. Netanyahu is trying to erase them, to wipe them from our memory. The lives of these families have become living nightmares since the day they received the dreadful news about their loved ones. The Prime Minister hasnโ€™t even bothered picking up the phone to most of them. He has not attended a single funeral, hasnโ€™t bowed his head once. And now he continues to torture these families from the worldโ€™s largest stage. This black-hearted man who bears a monumental share of the responsibility for the horrific failures, and has spent all this time trying to cover it up with lies โ€“ must be removed from public life. He cannot be the one making decisions regarding Israelโ€™s security. He cannot be the one making decisions on account of the massive part he played in the failures and on account of his actions since that horrific day." xitter.cf/enavezangauker/status/โ€ฆ

Replying to @enavezangauker
@EnaveZangauker, an Israeli citizen whose son was assaulted by Hamas on Israeli soil, and taken hostage, was reduced to begging PM Netanyahu to ensure her Matan would be moved amid the Gazan tunnels so as not to remain alone . "I understand it's not Matan's turn in this Russian roulette" of the hostage deals. She was ignored. Her plea was never even passed to negotiators. Watch her here.๐Ÿ‘‡

Today, Israeli expats and Jewish Americans protested Minister Ron Dermer. He lectures on antisemitism despite his role in the Oct 7 government that failed to protect citizens, abandoned the hostages, and tanked global Jewish security. We will join Israelis on Oct 27 to demand accountability, democracy, and the value of human life๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ
