🚨JUST IN: UNA-Haiti sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General saying “children are being killed not by gangs, but by foreign bombs.” In fact, in Kenscoff on August 23, gangs killed at least 47 people, many of them in a church, and kidnapped more than 50, including three children under the age of 2. Nobody at UNA-Haiti wrote the Secretary-General about them.
Your only evidence is one sentence: “Our families tell us they are hiding under beds.” I read all the three pages of the report, who died UNA-Haiti? Who died? You wrote three pages to the Secretary-General, and you never condemned one gang crime. You never mention the four men the gangs took. Are you really calling the force against the gangs a slaughter? Are you?
.@DropSiteNews, @pass_blue, you both took that sentence and made it your entire daybook. Neither of your posts asks who actually died. I'm going to tell you: they are not casualties, they are victims, and in fact, they are being murdered by the gangs. You both know what verification looks like, so I will skip the lecture and talk about your agenda. Because your framing this week sets one story: the force that came after the kidnappers is the real threat, and the gangs that took four men and have terrorized Haitians for years are a footnote. This kind of reporting works against a peaceful Haiti, and it works against the Haitian people.
In a few days someone will falsely quote “Salvadoran bombs are killing Haitian children” with no source at all, and it will trace back to your posts. Is that what you wanted? Or maybe it is. Because that is how the ground gets laid for lying about this mission, and about what could actually help Haitians breathe again.
If things go wrong in Ayiti about this mission, trust that many Haitians will report it, with names and neighborhoods, because we are the ones who bury them. In the meantime, send your reporters to Kwadèboukè to identify and comfort the families of the victims.
Until then, shame on all of you. Every Haitian child deserves to be counted by name, and so does every victim of the gangs from Kenskòf to Kwadèboukè!
🇭🇹 A Haitian advocacy group is accusing Salvadoran forces of bombing civilians near Port-au-Prince, telling UN Secretary-General António Guterres in an open letter that "children are being killed not by gangs, but by foreign bombs."
🔹Despite its name, the United Nations Association-Haiti is not part of the UN but a diaspora advocacy group. Founder Harvey Dupiton, a Croix-des-Bouquets native, wrote that since Oct. 22, Salvadoran troops have hit civilian neighborhoods there and in nearby Canaan with airstrikes, helicopter gunships and heavy weapons. "Our families tell us they are hiding under beds," he added.
🔹President Nayib Bukele significantly expanded the deployment to over 2000 troops after gangs kidnapped four Salvadoran technicians serving with the UN-authorized Gang Suppression Force on Oct. 18.
🔹The group demanded an immediate halt to Salvadoran "offensive bombing operations," a UN investigation into civilian deaths and a Security Council statement that El Salvador "has no right to wage unilateral war in Haiti."

🇭🇹🇸🇻 #Analiz| Pami elikoptè fòs lame sovador yo angaje sou tèren an, nou ka identifye model MD500E/530F, yon elikptè leje ke yo souvan itilize pou atak leje ou siveyans.
Nou ka remake helikotè sa yo ekipe avèk avek 2 panye rokèt (rocket pods) 70 mm, 2.75 pous, yo plase youn sou chak kote aparèy la.
aprè analiz imaj yo; Yo te instale panye rokèt yo nan peyi vwazen an #RD, avan yo te rantre an #Ayiti.
Chak panye rokèt ka tire 7 rockèt, ki bay yon total de 14 rokèt ke chak elikoptè ka transpòte.
Konsènan modèl “rocket pods” yo li plis pwobab ke se yon modèl : LAU-131/A rocket launcher. Sa bay elikoptè yo posiblite pou yo tire jouska 8 km maximum de yon sib, presizyon an varye de anpil faktè, men yo ka mennen frap ase kadre a yon distans de 6km.
Daga li ka fè sou yon sib varye de tip ojiv li itilize, paske gen plizye tip #Ogive “rocket”pou sib diferan:
1) Ogive Alto-Explosive (HE) 2)
2) Ogive à fragmentation (Anti-personnel
3) Ogive Anti-Blindage (HEAT)
Yon lòt pwen anko, si yo vle yo ka instale nan plas yon “roket pods” yon Miniguns 7,62 mm sou li tou (ex: M134 Minigun). Men sa ap depann de tip misyon an ak objektif li. Oubyen yo ka mete li an opsyon “door gunner” ki vle di, pou se yon solda k’ap tire yon fason indepandan, pandan li pozisyone nan pòt la.
Ps: Peyi Salvador gen experyans nan mobilize epi opere elikoptè sa yo a letranje. Tankou nan peyi Mali 🇲🇱, nan yon operasyon avèk MINUSMA #ONU. nan jounen 30 Nov 2019, Yo te malezman pèdi yon elikoptè MD500E. (Pat gen mò, selman blese)

They have already begun, and we can expect to see many more of these posts in the coming days. Certain so-called advocacy groups, many of which are not even based in the country, will likely attempt to portray gang-related deaths as abuses committed by security forces. Yet these same groups remained conspicuously silent when armed gangs were terrorizing communities and killing innocent people. Their selective outrage raises serious questions about their credibility, consistency, and true commitment to human rights.
