Here's my take on the whole Rashford - United situation. Both parties needed this for themselves. For too long has Rashford carried United without getting much back and for too long has United relied on individual brilliance from the likes of Rashy, Pogba, Martial & Bruno.

I don’t think United players have ever really ‘downed tools’ as Neville insists. It’s always been a mix of poor coaching, a lack of talent, improper conditioning and the pressure at the club being too overwhelming for practically everyone in the club.
