Rewatching this… you can see his sadness at the end of the ovation by the fans. He’s hurting. I’d like to say it’s just money… but I honestly think it’s the lack of respect of the organization for his talent and contributions.

Through 15 games, the Vancouver Canucks are 3-11-1 & are last in the NHL. It's not been ideal as of late, going 1-8-1 in the last 10. Despite a rough start to 2026-27, there are some bright spots. Jonathan Lekkerimäki is one of them. @TheHockeyWriter 🔗: thehockeywriters.com/jonatha…

Believe Kucherov has his eyes set on playing with another one of the league’s top superstars and has a few players/teams in mind. We’ll see what moves the Lightning can, or are willing to, pull off.

This may be me, but wouldn’t you want to get a massive haul for a top-5 player in the league? You’ll still be competitive instead of just letting him walk for nothing.

Hodgson barrelled in and charged Clarke without even letting up. He wanted to hurt him with a reckless and gutless hit. If it were up to me, 5+ games, 10 even, but DoPS will fine $5,000 max allowed.
