About 11 years ago, my dad was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He beat it with lots of chemo and prayer.
On Monday he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He will beat it with the combination of chemo and a stem cell transplant. And prayer.
His oncologist told us that the best candidates for stem cell donors are healthy men and women ages 18-40.
If you would like to be a donor and possibly save a life, please do! A simple cheek swab is all they need to get you on the registry.
If you can’t donate, we still covet your prayers. My dad’s name is Robert and he’s a fighter.

Mossberg just put 20 ROUNDS OF 12 GAUGE into a short-barrel shotgun.
And I have questions.
The Mossberg 590RM Chisel has an 11.5-inch barrel.
Magazine-fed.
Folding stock.
AR-style safety.
And a 20-round magazine that looks completely ridiculous hanging off something this small.
It's like dropping a Hellcat engine into a Mini Cooper.
It shouldn't make sense.
But somehow it does.
And here's the part I wasn't expecting.
This thing genuinely made me feel like a kid again.
Every time I picked it up, I kept saying the same word.
COOL.
Not sophisticated.
Not revolutionary.
Just cool.
And sometimes that's enough.
Here's my question:
Would you choose a compact 20-round shotgun over a traditional tube-fed shotgun?

Longtime college football coach Dennis Franchione died Tuesday at the age of 75.
Franchione coached at five different FBS schools, including Alabama, Texas A&M and TCU from 1992 to 2015.
