A Monday morning question for you:
How should you measure your days? It's easy to measure your days in dollars earned or tasks completed, but there are other units of measurement to consider:
- What would you do today if you wanted to maximize laughter?
- What would you do today if you wanted to maximize time outside?
- What would you do today if you wanted to maximize peace of mind?
What unit of measurement serves you best right now?

Possibly our favourite ever #highperformance episode from Prof. Steve Peters
"You can't build resilience, your mind is 100% resilient - the question is how do we stop resilience from failing?"

Things I wish I’d known when I was younger.
This is superb episode of #HighPerformance
@mrjakehumphrey
Top takeaways 📝
“What do I think is good general advice for a teenager? @JamesClear Clear
I think it mostly comes down to focusing on getting started and being consistent.
So I always encourage people to start with what in the book, I talk about the two-minute rule. Take whatever habit you're trying to build, and you scale it down to something that takes two minutes or less to do. So read 30 books a year becomes read one page, or do yoga four days a week becomes take out my yoga mat.
And the real key there is that you're encouraging yourself to start small because you want to master the art of showing up. You know, you want to become the type of person that does it consistently. There's that quote from Ed Latimore where he says, the heaviest weight at the gym is the front door.”
Great mention from Damian Hughes of the brilliant Ian Gilbert who wrote a book about 15 years ago that said, so why do I need a teacher when I've got Google?
And it's such a brilliant book because the point he's making in the book is that we don't need to be teaching knowledge exclusively. We need to teach how to ask questions. How to be able to synthesize different bits of information and make sense of it, how to combine ideas.”
“And I think that's precisely what you're describing, but I think that's precisely what the work of the foundation is aiming to do to equip kids with that emotional intelligence to be able to go and make sense of the world and the world around them.
Advice via Sam Stoffel (Thanks for also supporting HPF) 👏
Ask questions.
Trust your instincts.
Never get complacent.
Balancing work and self care.
Values
Respect. Kindess. Stay Humble.
There is absolutely no doubt listening to this we need to do more to promote, inspire and develop entrepreneurship in schools.

We model it.
We discuss it through personal development.
We share examples #HighPerformance
Game plan @foundation_hp
We ensure we give them access to great role models.

London mayor @SadiqKhan has issued a statement on the US election:
“I know that many Londoners will be anxious about the outcome of the US Presidential election. Many will be fearful about what it will mean for democracy and for women’s rights, or how the result impacts the situation in the Middle East or the fate of Ukraine. Others will be worried about the future of NATO or tackling the climate crisis.
"London is - and will always be - for everyone. We will always be pro-women, pro-diversity, pro-climate and pro-human rights.
"London is a place where we’re proud of our diversity, proud of the contribution of all our communities and proud of our spirit of unity. These are some of the values that will continue to bind us together as Londoners."
"The lesson of today is that progress is not inevitable. But asserting our progressive values is more important than ever - re-committing to building a world where racism and hatred is rejected, the fundamental rights of women and girls are upheld, and where we continue to tackle the crisis of climate change head on."
