2S Catkins enjoyed their PE lesson today. We developed our sending and receiving, reaction and response skills using good control and consistency. We then applied our skills and played a game of junkyard. 🎾⚽️🏐

Y2 Catkins had a great morning in Kinball. We played lots of team games, listened to instructions well and gave each other lots of praise and encouragement.

5 Saplings also LOVED their first session of PE with coach Josh! #OakyPE

2 Catkins had great fun in Kinball today with Mr Curran and Mr Tyson. We focussed on the importance of team work when playing the games. #OakyPE

What incredible gymnasts we have in 2CW Oakies! Today we used the large, small and floor equipment to show off the balances and gymnastic shapes we have learnt this half term. #oakyPE

We love Kinball! Today in 2CW Woodies, we have been working as a team to move the Kinball across a train track. #oakype #JCPE

2CW Woodies learnt lots about balancing using the low apparatus today. Mr Cole showed us how to keep our limbs straight when we balance to make our shapes look athletic.

6HC Oakies enjoyed another session with “Allstars boxing of Sandbach” this morning - after a fun game of tag, today’s focus was sparring, skipping and aim! 🥊 #OakyPE

This afternoon 6HC Oakies have enjoyed their first boxing session with “Allstars Boxing ⭐️” of Sandbach 🥊 The children really enjoyed the session and are looking forward to the weeks ahead learning new skills 🥊 There may be some sore arms tomorrow! 💪 @OakyPE

2N Oakies have enjoyed recreating the act of a bird using the carnival of music!🕊️🦅🎶🎼

During PE this week we have climbed ‘Jack’s Beanstalk’, balanced our way over ‘Gingerbread Man’s River’, clambered across ‘Billy Goats’ Bridge’ & went through the ‘deep dark cave’! #OakyPE

We have had our first session with Sally from Nellie’s Netball this week! We had lots of fun practising our ball , footwork & jumping skills - we even learnt our first netball pass called a ‘chest pass’! @nelliesnetball #OakyPE

Lots of teamwork is being demonstrated by 6HC Oakies this afternoon!! The children are working in small groups to recreate the balance positions shown from the Real PE programme. @OakyPE

2S Catkins had lots of fun in PE exploring different rolls. We practised a ‘pencil roll’ and a ‘dish and arch’ roll. We then applied our new skills to travel around apparatus city, creating a superhero sequence. @PEOaky
