💬 Ukraine can continue to count on political, military, financial and humanitarian support, which is particularly important in the face of the approaching winter and Russia’s brutal attacks on civilian targets.
A lasting and just peace must guarantee respect for Ukraine’s sovereignty and ensure that Russia is held to account.
We will closely coordinate our efforts to ensure Europe’s security, in particular within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing, whose exercises we are participating in, and within the E5 Group.

At today’s UN Security Council meeting on 🇺🇦, 🇵🇱 stressed that 🇷🇺 war cannot be justified by invoking murky “root causes”.
While claiming to regard Ukrainians as a brotherly nation, Russia is waging an imperial war against them, their right to life, future, culture and economy.

Russia's further threats and calls to diplomats to leave Kyiv show that the Kremlin is trying to bully Europe and undermine our support for Ukraine.
However, such measures, contrary to the principles of the international law, will not have the desired effect. Russia will neither wear Ukraine down nor shake European solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
Poland unwaveringly supports Ukraine, its right to self-determination and territorial integrity. We will continue to respond firmly to Russia’s irresponsible and dangerous actions and to increase pressure on the Kremlin together with our allies.
We do not intend to change the operations of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv.

Russia is bound by the Vienna Convention and international humanitarian law.

Krótko: nie wyjeżdżamy. Jesteśmy z Ukraińcami.
Kolejne rosyjskie groźby i apele do dyplomatów o opuszczenie Kijowa pokazują, że Kreml próbuje zastraszyć Europę i osłabić nasze wsparcie dla Ukrainy.
Takie działania, sprzeczne z zasadami prawa międzynarodowego, nie przyniosą jednak oczekiwanego skutku. Rosja nie złamie Ukrainy ani nie podważy europejskiej solidarności z narodem ukraińskim.
Polska niezachwianie wspiera Ukrainę, jej prawo do samostanowienia i integralności terytorialnej. Będziemy nadal stanowczo reagować na nieodpowiedzialne i niebezpieczne działania Rosji oraz wraz z sojusznikami zwiększać presję na Kreml.
Nie przewidujemy zmian w funkcjonowaniu Ambasady RP w Kijowie.

Podczas dzisiejszego spotkania z ambasadorami państw Unii Europejskiej prezydent Ukrainy Wołodymyr Zełeński podkreślił polskie donacje i podziękował Polsce i Polakom za pomoc, która pozwala chronić ukraińskie miasta, Kijów przede wszystkim, przed rosyjskimi dronami z napędem odrzutowym.
Ratujemy w ten sposób życie i pomagamy odeprzeć barbarzyńskie ataki Rosji. Dobrze było usłyszeć te słowa, dobrze być przykładem dla innych.

OTD in 1939, following a secret treaty with Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union invaded Poland under the pretext of ‘protecting’ Ukrainians and Belarusians and claiming a ‘historic right’ to the territory. Today, 87 years later, the Kremlin again seeks to redraw Europe’s borders by force using the same pretext.

Supporting veterans and people affected by war trauma is one of the priorities of Poland’s assistance.
Another Psychosocial Support Centre has opened in Odesa as part of the PRO_MentalHealth programme implemented by the Solidarity Fund PL and financed by the European Union. Solidarity Fund PL has already established a network of 18 such centres across the Rivne, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Poltava regions.
This is an example of a responsible and forward-looking partnership between Poland and Ukraine - responding to today’s needs while also preparing for the challenges of the future.
[🇵🇱] Wsparcie weteranów i osób dotkniętych traumą wojny jest jednym z priorytetów polskiej pomocy.
W Odessie otwarto kolejne Centrum Wsparcia Psychospołecznego w ramach programu PRO_MentalHealth Fundacji Solidarności Międzynarodowej sfinansowane ze środków Unii Europejskiej. FSM stworzyła już sieć 18 takich centrów w obwodach rówieńskim, żytomierskim, dniepropetrowskim, odeskim i połtawskim.
To przykład odpowiedzialnego i dalekowzrocznego partnerstwa Polski i Ukrainy – reagowania na potrzeby dziś, ale także przygotowywania się na wyzwania przyszłości.
[🇺🇦] Підтримка ветеранів та людей, які пережили травматичний досвід війни, є одним із пріоритетів польської допомоги.
В Одесі відкрито черговий Центр психосоціальної підтримки в межах програми PRO_MentalHealth, яку реалізує Фонд міжнародної солідарності профінансований Європейським Союзом. FSM вже створив мережу з 18 таких центрів у Рівненській, Житомирській, Дніпропетровській, Одеській та Полтавській областях.
Це приклад відповідального та далекоглядного партнерства Польщі й України – реагування на потреби сьогодні та спільної підготовки до викликів майбутнього.
