Leadership doesn’t have to be complicated.
I had the honor of opening the @PRIAUS Property Records Industry Association conference in Tacoma with 300 leaders who live that truth. The theme was Elevate the Record, and my keynote Everyday Leaders: Small Actions, Big Results highlighted how small, consistent actions create the biggest impact.
A few of the reminders that stood out:
👉 Keep it simple
👉 Cheer on others
👉 Live core values
👉 Lead by example
👉 Celebrate small wins
One of the highlights? A giant rock-paper-scissors game with all 300 participants. The room exploded with cheers as people celebrated total strangers’ wins... a joyful reminder of something we lose after childhood but badly need back in adulthood. I mean, who knew paper could still beat rock with that much excitement?
I also loved the side conversations, like discovering how many people still miss the Seattle Supersonics 🏀, and the chance to reconnect with familiar faces from past conferences.
At the end of the day, leadership isn’t about title or rank... it’s about how we show up for people, day after day, in ways that matter.
