Pennsylvania’s “measles deaths” may be FABRICATED.
Governor Shapiro's unseemly rush to Lancaster County to convene a national press conference and his giddy delight in announcing two measles deaths was a morose commentary on the contemporary political dialogue. The performance was a replay of the Democrats' COVID playbook: fearmongering, misinformation, finger-pointing, and the weaponization of infectious disease fears for political gain.
The announcement appears to have been premature, and the deaths may even have been altogether fabricated by one of the Governor's hopeful staffers. The Lancaster County Coroner says that it has no record of any measles deaths. State law requires that all measles deaths be reported to the coroner.
Governor Shapiro shattered tradition and violated standard public health policy by refusing to share information with the County Health Department or CDC.
Since I have been in office, CDC has had a superb record of cooperation, information sharing, and professionalism with blue- and red-state governors and health officials. Those collaborations have resulted in effective control of the global measles outbreak in this country.
Governor Shapiro got his headlines. He correctly gambled that the slavish mainstream media would dutifully amplify his scolding without any effort to check his facts.

1.That infant died of a lacerated spleen (per the coroner) and was too young for the MMR under CDC’s own schedule.
2.Over 10 years: 50 VAERS deaths after MMR, 3 measles deaths total. Whose “reckless rhetoric”?
An infant was among the two measles-related deaths in Pennsylvania.
Secretary Kennedy’s reckless vaccine rhetoric is putting our children’s safety at risk.
The MMR vaccine is safe. It will protect your loved ones way more than Kennedy’s lies and misinformation will.

Every so often, a document comes along which deserves more than a quick glance.
This is one of them.
I appreciate that 60 pages represents a significant investment of time.
I also appreciate that many people will instinctively assume this is simply another paper about Covid-19.
It is not.
It is a forensic examination of a much deeper constitutional question.
When Parliament has already defined what constitutes a criminal investigation, can the legal character of police activity ultimately depend upon the terminology later adopted by the investigating authority, or must it be measured against the statutory definition itself?
That question reaches far beyond one crime report.
It reaches beyond one police force.
It reaches beyond one period of history.
It concerns the relationship between Parliament, policing and the courts.
I have deliberately avoided asking readers to accept my conclusions.
Whether you ultimately agree or disagree with the analysis is entirely a matter for you, but I would encourage you to take the time to understand the question being asked because if we are to maintain confidence in the Rule of Law, there are some constitutional questions too important to leave unexplored.

Today I publish what I believe to be one of the most important legal papers I have written.
It is not a paper about Covid-19, or about vaccination, nor is it about political opinion.
It is a paper about the Rule of Law.
Parliament has already defined what constitutes a criminal investigation.
The Metropolitan Police created a contemporaneous operational chronology in relation to CRN 6029679/21.
The Administrative Court later considered the Metropolitan Police's handling of that complaint.
This paper asks a single, disciplined question:
Can Parliament's statutory definition, the Metropolitan Police's own operational record and the legal characterisation subsequently advanced before the Court all be readily reconciled?
The paper reaches no finding of criminal liability. It makes no allegation against the judiciary. It invites no predetermined conclusion. None of these are its purpose.
Instead, it forensically considers the relevant primary documents alongside the statutory framework.
If confidence in the administration of justice is to be maintained, difficult legal questions should never be feared. They should be answered.
That is the purpose of this new publication.
