Crews have completed the offloading process of the product from the overturned trailer at Whites Creek Pike. The scene is now being turned over to wrecker and clean up crews who say there are still several hours of work to be done before the scene is clear and the road reopened.

Crews are still working the overturned trailer scene on Whites Creek Pike and have started to offload the product. This process involves carefully drilling holes inside the container and inserting tubes inside that will pump the product to an empty tanker.

Another team is placing grounding rods to direct the electrical energy from the tanker.

Pleasant View Fire Department, Coopertown PD, @NashvilleEOC, @MNPDNashville, @NashvilleFD, NFD HAZMAT crews and @PIOKendra are on the scene of the overturned trailer. The agencies have grounded the trailer and are preparing to offload the product.
