𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐀𝐋 : Convince the entire nation that we are the best market for a Major League Baseball expansion team. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐌: A huge misconception that Raleigh was too small and didn't have what it took to become an MLB expansion market. No interested billionaire or government officials willing to take on the task to change that. So we came up with a plan to attack from the bottom up... 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍👇 1⃣ 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞, 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞 people around the idea of Major League Baseball in Raleigh, North Carolina. We had the data to put us in contention, but we believed it'd be showcasing the passion here that would put us over the top. 2⃣ 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 by bringing people together, in person, to watch, talk, and celebrate baseball. We'd design and sell merch at those get-togethers to help fund baseball field renovations and baseball programs in underserved areas of our community. Put our money where our mouth is. 3⃣ 𝐁𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 if needed. Help assemble a management group that works to connect city leaders, investors, and consultants to get the ball rolling financially and engage MLB officials. 4⃣ 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 until we can transition this movement into the first fan group ever that helped create the team they're rooting for. It would be the ultimate proof of concept. 👎 If the community doesn't get involved or get excited, then our hypothesis is wrong, our area's passion for baseball isn't what we thought it was, and baseball wouldn't work here anyway. 👍𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧... 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐲, 𝐰𝐞'𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥. But no one else is bringing a proven winner with elite experience like Tom Dundon. He took a team on the brink of relocation and transformed the Carolina Hurricanes into one of the biggest success stories in the NHL. He took a market with zero hockey tradition and put Raleigh into an absolute fever pitch over the Hurricanes. Now he’s ready to do it again with Major League Baseball. No other bid will have an owner who can match that resume. No other ownership group will have that track record of turning a 'perceived small market' into an absolute powerhouse. That experience. That vision. That proven ability to win. That’s our edge. And it’s a massive one. #MLB2NC #RaleighOnDeck
