My US publisher is primarily @HarperCollins. I hope that the terrific people working there, who get my books made and onto the shelves, succeed in their demands. publishersweekly.com/pw/by-t…

This strike is so important; HarperCollins is one of the few publishers with a union workforce for junior employees. We NEED to make this business more equitable. See below for ways to help our Harper friends.

i’m a HarperCollins author and none of my books would ever get produced the way they do without all the brilliant editorial marketing and publicity staff who deserve better. i love my harper team and i want the best for them!! solidarity and waiting for a fair contract ❤️

strike starts TODAY-- if you're able, pledge some $$ to support the striking workers, or email [email protected] in support of a fair contract. the industry cannot become more diverse if it does not pay a living wage!! #hcponstrike

I, as a freelance book critic for NPR, the Washington Post, the LA Times, and more, stand with @hcpunion and #hcponstrike and will do my utmost to hold reviews and criticism regarding HarperCollins titles until its workers have a fair contract. Solidarity!
