Rev John McKay, AEMT-P GA1659 Retired Army Combat Medic (91B2P), PM/FF, teacher, historian, pastor/chaplain, now a wheelchair bound cripple with the jokes

Appalachistan, Georgia
Joined September 2013
I am John McKay, a former US Army & Georgia Army National Guard enlisted combat medic, 15 years+ as a civilian Firefighter & Paramedic, 32 years as a professional educator in public and private schools, and concurrently 10+ years as an ordained pastor founding and running a chaplaincy ministry for the EMS in Georgia. I live outside a small rural community in NW GA, in the foothills of the Appalachians, just a few miles from where I was born and from where both sides of my family come from. After a lifetime of high speed, low drag, hair on fire living, I take great joy in the peace and solitude of our small homestead here. I retired yesterday from a politically appointed post as the Director of the Georgia National Guard's STARBASE Program, a really wonderful, federal DOD funded STEM based adjunctive education program intended for at-risk 5th-8th graders in public Title 1 schools. The program itself has been completely defunded at this point, Congress has been fighting for nearly a year now whether to continue the program at any level or not, and we were among the last of the former 92 locations to close, at least temporarily. More on the program here: dodstarbase.org Before and during an 8-year time away from STARBASE, I taught high school social studies, primarily AP US History and AP Government & Politics. My undergrad degrees were in History and Applied Science, with minors in Philosophy and Military History. Yep, a double major, double minor. I do not recommend doing that for anyone. I went to seminary and earned an MDiv in general ministry while I was working as a classroom teacher. While I was working at STARBASE, I went through the ordination process, specifically to set up the EMS chaplaincy ministry, and was ordained as a Southern Baptist pastor in 2013, endorsed by the NAMB-SBC and two churches we were affiliated with. I retired from this work two years ago, as my health had gotten too bad to continue the field work. If you've seen my posts over the years, it is clear that I am a deeply committed social conservative, about three steps to the right of Attila the Hun (that's a joke, btw), and probably what would be considered a "squish" as a fiscal conservative, as I believe there is a role for a central government, and certain public services that are not well suited for privatization, such as police, Fire, and EMS. As for the social parts, I am in complete agreement and obedience with scripture, and have no hesitation to call out evil, especially when I see it directly harming people. No, I am very much not a "nice" Christian, and not suited at all for a pulpit ministry. I fit in quite well with my Fire & EMS peers. More later. Photos: Left: How it started, PFC John as a combat medic with Co. A, 1/506th PIR, 101st ABN DIV (yes, I was a real Currahee, in the 1970s). Right: How it ended, (L) MG Dwayne Wilson, the Adjutant General of Georgia and my big boss, me, Col. (Ret.) Joe Ferrero, the Deputy Adjutant General and for the past ten years my direct supervisor. Yes, they are very tall individuals, I am 5'10", but crumbled a bit due to damaged legs.

RuralHistoria · More than 1,000 years ago, around 50 men were marched to the top of a Dorset ridge, stripped, executed and thrown into a pit. Their heads were piled separately. The extraordinary Ridgeway Hill mass grave was discovered in 2009 during construction of the Weymouth Relief Road near Dorchester. Initially, archaeologists had no idea what they had found. But excavation revealed a mass grave containing the remains of roughly 50 males, almost all adolescents or young adults, who had been violently decapitated. This was not a neat execution. Cut marks on the necks, jaws, shoulders and skulls showed that several blows were often required to remove a head. Some men had injuries to their hands and arms consistent with trying to defend themselves as the blows fell. There were no obvious weapons, clothing or possessions buried with them. Archaeologists believe they may have been stripped before execution and thrown into an old Roman quarry pit. But who were they? Radiocarbon dating placed their deaths in the late 10th or early 11th century. Isotope analysis of their teeth and bones produced the extraordinary answer: many had grown up outside Britain, probably in Scandinavia and other northern European regions. At least 38 appear to have been living outside the British Isles only a few years before they died. The most likely interpretation is that they were Vikings — perhaps members of a raiding force captured and executed by the Anglo-Saxon population. However, archaeologists cannot completely rule out other possibilities, including Scandinavian mercenaries. There were certainly Viking attacks on Dorset around this period, including raids recorded in 982, 998, 1015 and 1016. And then there is the location. This wasn't some hidden hollow where bodies could simply disappear. The execution took place on the crest of Ridgeway Hill, beside an ancient route and close to a landscape already filled with prehistoric burial monuments. Maiden Castle was visible in the distance. Archaeologists believe the prominent position may have been deliberately chosen so that the execution made a very public statement. Perhaps it was punishment. Perhaps revenge. Perhaps it was also a warning to anyone else arriving on Dorset's coast. What we can say is that the South Dorset Ridgeway had already been associated with the dead for thousands of years before these men were brought here. Not 6,000 years of continuous warfare — but thousands of years of burial, ritual, conflict and human activity concentrated along the same extraordinary ridge. Today traffic thunders along the new road below. A thousand years ago, around 50 Scandinavian men met an exceptionally violent end on the hill above it.

A Thorn in the Flesh by Alistair Begg To keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. - 2 Corinthians 12:7 If you gather many talented musicians who are only interested in their individual parts, you won’t have an orchestra. What you will produce is merely discordant noise: an affront to the listening ear. However, when that giftedness is exercised in selflessness and humility, under the headship of a conductor and the rule of a score, you get beautiful, harmonious music. Just as a musician’s desire for individual greatness is the death knell of orchestral usefulness, so it is with our Christian faith. A spiritual gift should never be the source of pride—because, after all, it’s a gift! Yet we are often tempted to take God-given gifts and attribute them to ourselves as if we developed or deserve them, or to use them for ourselves as if they were ours. This puts us in extreme danger of cherishing exaggerated ideas about our own importance—and those with the most significant gifts are typically in the greatest danger. Paul himself had to face this temptation. He was particularly bright, had a strong education, was from the best kind of background, and was influential in many lives (see Philippians 3:4-6). When taking on the false apostles of the day, who were making elaborate claims about their knowledge of God, Paul honestly described having seen extraordinary visions (2 Corinthians 12:2-4). He was a prime target for an inflated ego. What protected him from that? A thorn in his flesh. He does not specify precisely what it was, and so we would be wise not to speculate. What matters is not what it was so much as what it achieved; for Paul recognized that this thorn in the flesh was a humbling reminder from God of his inherent weakness, given so that he would not boast about his own importance and so that he would continue to rely on God. Like the false teachers Paul addressed, we are often tempted to allow our influence and apparent success, whether great or small, to serve as the means by which we judge our worth. Eventually, however, such temporary matters will be exposed as temporary and will fade away. In the providence and goodness of God, Paul’s “thorn” helps us to understand our own difficulties such as illness, financial lack, relational challenges, the effort of raising children, and even the ongoing struggle with sin. God knows what He’s doing when He allows these necessary, uncomfortable, unrelenting elements in our lives. Better to be a humble believer beset by thorns than a proud, self-reliant no-longer-believer unplagued by anything. We need to know our own weakness in order to continue to rely on God’s grace for our eternal salvation and God’s power for our daily lives. The question, then, is not whether the thorns will come to you but whether you will allow God to use your “thorns” to remind you that He alone is the source of your gifts and the one who makes you spiritually useful. C.H. Spurgeon Devotion We Will Wait in Prayer Tonight So she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the clan of Elimelech. - Ruth 2:3 She happened to come. Yes, it seemed nothing but an accident, but it was divinely ruled over! Ruth had gone out with her mother-in-law's blessing, under the care of her mother-in-law's God, to humble but honorable work, and the providence of God was guiding her every step. Little did she know that among the sheaves she would find a husband, that he would make her the joint owner of all those broad acres, and that she, a poor foreigner, would become one of the ancestors of the great Messiah. God is very good to those who trust in Him and often surprises them with unexpected blessings. Little do we know what may happen to us tomorrow, but this sweet fact may cheer us—that no good thing will be withheld. Chance is banished from the faith of Christians, for they see the hand of God in everything. The trivial events of today or tomorrow may involve consequences of the highest importance. O Lord, deal as graciously with Your servants now as You did with Ruth. How blessed would it be if, in wandering in the field of meditation tonight, we should happen to find ourselves in the place where the Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to us! O Spirit of God, guide us to Him. We would rather glean in His field than carry home the whole harvest from any other place. We would follow the footsteps of His flock, which would guide us to the green pastures where He dwells! This is a weary world when Jesus is away—we would survive easier without sun and moon than without Him—but how divinely fair all things become in the glory of His presence! Our souls know the virtue that lives in Jesus and can never be content without Him. We will wait in prayer tonight until we "happen" to come to a part of the field belonging to Jesus in which He will reveal Himself to us. Truth For Life Devotional truthforlife.org/daily?tab=d…

PART 8 of the Color Revolution Coup of America!👇🔥🔥
🚨🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 8: THE COMPLICIT FEDERAL WORKERS 🚨 In Drop 7, we saw Paul Zeitz type during a Zoom call: "We are also starting to consult federal workers on how to do some blocking inside the govt agencies during emergency situations - but please do not put that on the form." Excuse me? Actively blocking the federal government during an "emergency situation?" And how are federal workers involved with Renew American Democracy (RAD), a group whose primary mission is to a fundamental rewrite of our Constitution? Turns out, a certain federal workers alliance, FWAD, is working closely with RAD on their goal to rewrite America. FWAD is the Federal Workers Alliance for Democracy, formerly known as "Federal Workers Against DOGE." RAD's published strategy lists FWAD among its endorsers. But FWAD isn't just an endorser. It is a founding partner of the Nationwide Deliberation Campaign (NDC). The goal is "a national People's Proposal of structural reforms" - which, in RAD's other videos and strategy documents, is planned to occur just after the federal government has been declared illegitimate. In a nutshell: with no federal government, a representative (read: DEI) panel of citizens will be assembled, their input collated and stitched into a new constitution for the Fourth Founding. But that is not the only path for restructuring. A concept note also proposes "Constitutional amendments," with "state ratification strategies." Either way, all evidence points to that the NGOs in the Block lane know their goal is to rewrite American governance. All the receipts are in this video. 👇 Note: two current federal workers were in the files. As they are not public figures, I withheld these names. I gave them over to contacts in their agencies instead.

This is the vital piece of the “color revolution” or coup as it’s actually called that most ppl miss. I will keep repeating it for those ignoring it. NOTHING THEY ARE PLANNING CAN BE DONE WITHOUT INSIDERS ESPECIALLY IN THE MILITARY. This is why the focus has been on @SecWar amd how to get rid of him. He wasn’t groomed for the position. He wasn’t indoctrinated into the rebellion. The reason all the war college credentialed elite scream at the top of their lungs about every decision he makes is bc the.y are the groomers. The focus on fixing our Academies. They are the groomers for the insiders. Every single retired flag officer left minions of theirs on the inside. The officers on the inside understand that there is a grooming process to perpetuate the mindset of those retired. Phone calls are made, plans are coordinated. It’s like an invasive weed. History is littered with examples like Gen Alexander Haig, Gen Wesley Clark, etc. We watched them rationalize ROEs that killed 1,000’s of their troops in Iraq and AFG. We watched them bow down to injecting poison into their troops. Understand where we are. What was revealed by @DataRepublican CANNOT happen without the military. Why do you think they tried to recruit Gen Smedley Butler for the Business Plot? Make no mistake, this isn’t being planned by NGOs. They are the foot soldiers (operational level) of the coup. The strategic level is every oligarch that despises the Trump Administration for thwarting a plan that was created over 100 yrs ago. We are reliving history. The history you didn’t learn in school because the same ppl rewrote the history to keep you ignorant.
I'm saying this on the record... My amplification of @DataRepublican's information on my X feed has resulted in elements of the Federal Government taking notice - elements that are still under control of the Deep State team that is working with those planning the Color Revolution...and they ain't happy...every day is a challenge to figure out who the folks are who are loyal to @realDonaldTrump and those who are still working to undermine, from within, the rule of law and his agenda...

So what you are saying is that you are perfectly okay with bringing in foreigners legally or illegally, and by persuasion or force having them work the fields under the broiling sun for minimum or no wages, right? There's a word for that, that you Democrats sure did like.
Good news, red staters. Lots of jobs now open to pick fruit and vegetables in the broiling sun on minimum wage

I've been going through the Democracy Files leaks @DataRepublican has been releasing, and whether or not any of this ultimately meets the legal bar for seditious conspiracy. The plan these organizers are discussing doesn't hold together unless you assume their "non-violence" language is masking their true intentions from public consumption. Their red line is the Insurrection Act as a potential triggering action, there may be others, but all of the potential triggering acts that have been hinted at are lawful actions. Nobody invokes the Insurrection Act over people walking down the street with signs. It doesn't happen. The Guard deployments in LA and Portland last year to counteract violent protestors weren't even the Insurrection Act. The only scenario where it actually gets invoked is one where there is sustained violence that local authorities can't or won't control. So if your entire plan is built around what happens after the Insurrection Act is invoked, you are building a plan around mass violence happening. You can say "non-violence" as many times as you want. The plan doesn't work without the violence. That's a wink and a nod tactic to cya legally. But understand the logic flow of what comes next. In the transcripts published by The Post Millennial and WECU, the talk is about governors becoming "the leading governing authority," about how to "wall off these illegitimate individuals," and about moving "into an extra-constitutional process." In other words, the federal response has been labeled illegitimate before anything has even happened. That's where this starts to matter legally. The seditious conspiracy statute covers conspiring to oppose by force the authority of the United States, or to prevent, hinder or delay by force the execution of any law. The Supreme Court said back in 1887 that if federal officers carrying out the law are forcibly opposed by people who conspired for that purpose, that is exactly what the statute was written for. If violence breaks out, and the federal government steps in to protect communities, and these same organizers then use ongoing violent protests to tell governors and the public that the federal government is no longer legitimate, that bleeds out of activism and into something far more serious. Advocating an idea isn't a crime necessarily and the courts have been clear about that. But there is a big difference between teaching an abstract idea and lining up the lawyers, the bail money and the governing plan for the day after. Maria Stephan, who co-leads the Horizons Project, the group that co-wrote the toolkit for these organizers, wrote in 2020 that calling the George Floyd protests violent riots "is simply untrue" and that the looting and vandalism were "a minute portion" of it, "largely committed by opportunists." Erica Chenoweth, whose 3.5% rule keeps coming up in these circles, co-wrote that claims the protests were overtaken by rioting "are false." Paul Zeitz wrote last year that troops had been "deployed against peaceful protestors" in LA. So they are obviously hiding behind legalese to cover their tracks while having a background of defining violent protests as non-violent. All of this tells you exactly how they'll describe the violence when it comes. “It isn't really violence, it's a tiny percentage, it's opportunists, and the real threat is the federal response.” They're being evasive and misleading, intentionally. The question now is what the full archive shows. If anyone on these calls is planning to physically resist federal law enforcement once it shows up, or keeps backing these movements after they've clearly turned violent, that's not politics anymore. And it’s worth repeating this last point. If the organizers of this say “peaceful protest” now, but advocate for advancing their plan to delegitimize the authority of the United States government after violent protests break out, they will be exposed to more obvious legal scrutiny.

GARYs RIOT CONTROL SERVICES: With the election cycle upon us we must face the fact that ANY kind of loss on the Democrat side will inevitably lead to riots! Let Gary take care of this for you, I have 50 head of these angry bastards coming off lease land as we speak, I provide the transportation and the cowboys to round them back up once your riot is successfully stomped into the pavement. We are two days from anywhere in this country so keep my contact info. On the sixteenth of December 1960 a twelve-year-old boy was put on a table in a San Jose hospital, given electric shocks until he was unconscious, and had an ice pick hammered through the thin bone above each eye and swept from side to side through the front of his brain, because his stepmother had told the doctor he was defiant. The doctor's fee was two hundred dollars. Howard Dully was a big, clumsy, daydreaming boy whose mother had died when he was five, and his father had married a woman called Lou who could not stand him. She took him to six psychiatrists. All six told her the problem was not the boy. The seventh was Walter Freeman, who had performed more lobotomies than any man alive, who drove between state hospitals in a van he called the lobotomobile doing them by the dozen in an afternoon, with no gloves and no surgical training, and who had once done twenty-five in a day. Freeman's notes on Howard, which Howard did not read for forty-four years, record the symptoms. He objects to going to bed. He turns the lights on when there is broad daylight. He does not react to love or to punishment. He has a savage streak. On that evidence, and Lou's signature, and two hundred dollars, Freeman wrote that the boy would benefit from a transorbital lobotomy and did it four days later. Howard remembers the table. He remembers waking with two black eyes and a fever and no idea what had been done to him, because nobody told him, then or ever. His father never spoke of it. Lou put him into a state institution the following year, and the boy with the holes in his brain spent the next forty years in and out of asylums, juvenile halls, a jail, halfway houses and the street, drinking, drifting, never quite able to say why he was the way he was, with a photograph that existed somewhere of a doctor in a suit standing over a child with a steel spike in each eye socket. At fifty-six, driving a school bus, he went to find out. He found his file in Freeman's archive at a university in Washington, in the doctor's own handwriting, and read for the first time what his stepmother had said and what the doctor had agreed to. He went to see his father, who was eighty, and asked him why he had let it happen, and his father said he had been bullied into it. Howard told the story on the radio in 2005 and five million people listened to a man weep over a piece of paper. Walter Freeman was not a quack. He was a professor of neurology, the man who had brought the lobotomy to America, and the operation had won its inventor the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1949. The journals published him. The hospitals booked him. The newspapers called it a miracle. He did it to three and a half thousand people, nineteen of them children, and he kept doing it until 1967, when a patient died on the table and the hospital took his privileges away, and he spent his last years driving the country in the van looking up his old patients to prove it had worked. That is what settled science looked like from inside, to a twelve-year-old. A mother's complaint, an expert's confidence, a procedure with a prize behind it, two hundred dollars, and a lifetime nobody could give back. The same institutions now tell you what your child should eat, in the same voice, with the same certainty, and the leaflet has a logo on it. Howard Dully is in his seventies and still cannot say what was taken. Nobody ever apologised.

I have been asked about what is the Marine Corps doing about the Iwo Jima monument that was destroyed by the illegal at Quantico This monument was built with private funds, so there will be no government funds to repair it. In cooperation with the Base Commander and Marine Corps Headquarters, the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign to support the restoration of the monument. Their goal is to start restoration efforts as soon as possible.
