OUR CANTON PICKS
Projects to explore. Launches to watch.
• @BitSafe_Finance: Brings Bitcoin to Canton through CBTC, which you can hold, trade or lend through supported apps. It also develops open source tools for building and running Canton applications.
• @cancore_io: Swap assets within Canton and across networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum and TRON. Its built in wallet lets you view balances and send or receive assets.
• @walley_app: Hold, send and swap Canton assets in a wallet where you control the keys. Bridge supported assets into Canton.
• @Rocky_exchange: Building spot and futures trading on Canton, with a dark pool designed to keep large orders off the public order book.
• @Interstice_Dig: Building a service with FalconX for swapping assets between Canton, Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain, with users approving each swap from their own wallets.
• @OnRailsFinance: Brings ETH to Canton through cETH. Each token is backed by one ETH and can be held or traded in supported apps, then redeemed for ETH.
• @mperpsxyz: Trade crypto, stock and commodity price movements through perpetual futures. Positions are funded with USDCx on Canton, with trades executed through Aster.
• @partylayerkit: An open source toolkit for developers connecting Canton apps to multiple wallets. Its Studio provides examples for connecting wallets, signing messages and sending transactions.
A useful series for anyone building on Canton. Starting with Daml basics and moving into real application workflows🟡 canton-network:native
In the first Daml post, we modeled a payment obligation that requires both parties’ authority. Now let’s test what changes when we remove one of those signatories.
Take a $10,000 payment obligation. The customer is the debtor; the supplier is the creditor.
With this declaration:
signatory debtor, creditor
Creating the contract requires both parties’ authority. A direct create submitted only as the supplier is rejected.
Now keep the same fields and the positive-amount check, but change the declaration to:
signatory creditor
The supplier can now create the record using only its own authority. The customer’s authority is no longer required for creation.
The amount is still $10,000. What changed is whose authority was required for the record to exist.
I’d name the second template Claim: a creditor-recorded claim. Naming the customer in the debtor field does not establish their acceptance.
The local Daml Script tests confirm the difference: supplier-only creation fails for PaymentObligation and succeeds for Claim.
Both templates still include:
ensure amount > 0.0
That validates the amount. It does not supply the customer’s authority.
When reviewing a Daml model, read the signatory declaration alongside the fields. Ask: whose authority is required for this record to exist?

noticed the integration of @partylayerkit into @Oneswapcc.
let’s look into what it actually means.
> 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽?
PartyLayerKit allows dApps to connect with multiple Canton wallets through a single integration.
think of @partylayerkit as a 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 between OneSwap and different Canton wallets.
instead of OneSwap building and maintaining a separate connection for every wallet, PartyLayer helps simplify that process.
> 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀?
it means users can potentially 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽 without having to move their assets into the OneSwap Wallet just to use the DEX.
your assets stay in your wallet.
@Oneswapcc handles the swaps.
@partylayerkit helps connect the two.

Canton is getting more wallets.
More wallet means More dApps. Every wallet can introduce its own integration work, so infrastructure that makes those wallets easier for applications to support becomes increasingly useful.
This is where @PartyLayerKit comes in.
PartyLayer is an open-source wallet abstraction SDK that gives Canton dApps a unified way to connect with multiple wallets through a single integration. The SDK provides functionality for connecting, disconnecting, signing messages, signing transactions, submitting transactions and managing sessions
It is built around CIP-0103, Canton’s dApp/wallet
So instead of developers building separate wallet integrations one by one,
PartyLayer aims for:
𝙙𝘼𝙥𝙥 → 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮𝙇𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 → 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙨
𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀:
• Console
• 5N Loop
• Cantor8
• Bron
• Nightly
• Cauri
• OneSwap V2
• Send
• Walley
Why does this matter for users?
- More wallet choice for users.
- Users wallet can interact with more Canton applications without every application needing a completely different wallet connection system.
- Less repetitive reconnecting when returning to a dApp.
- A smoother experience whether you're using a browser extension, mobile wallet or another wallet setup.

What is CIP-0103? 🧵
You may have seen us mention CIP-0103 following Cauri Wallet’s integration with @partylayerkit.
But what exactly is it, and why does it matter for Canton dApps and wallets?

Cauri Wallet 🤝 @partylayerkit
Cauri Wallet is now integrated with PartyLayer, enabling compatible Canton dApps using PartyLayer to connect with Cauri through its CIP-0103-compliant wallet interface.
With this integration, developers using the PartyLayer SDK can support Cauri Wallet through a unified integration rather than building a separate wallet connection.
A simpler, more consistent way for Canton dApps and wallets to connect.
