If you think schools are paying for sex changes, after needing to beg for pencils and hand sanitizer, then you’re a very special kind of stupid.

2/2 The Benton herd has been quarantined. How H5N1 reached this herd is unknown. We don't know yet if this was transmission from Yakima County or a separate spillover. But it shows us why we need routine surveillance.

🚨 H5N1 has been confirmed in dairy cattle in a SECOND WA county. As of 10/26/26, Washington reports 18 affected dairy herds: 17 in Yakima County & 1 in Benton County. The Benton infection was detected before cattle showed signs of illness. 🧵 agr.wa.gov/about-wsda/news-a…
🚨H5N1 bird flu is emerging in Washington's dairy cattle. On Oct 8, the state confirmed its first 2 infected dairy herds. By Oct 16, that number had reached 8, all in Yakima County. Officials have also confirmed a human infection linked to exposure to infected cattle. 🧵

My late colleague and brilliant co U.S. Science Envoy with me in the Obama Admin the @Caltech Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Ahmed Zewail would disagree. God rest his soul he didn’t have to endure this, and of course RFK Jr forgets that it was the Arab scientists of the Middle Ages who kept Aristotle, Hippocrates, Galen alive to hand it down in the Renaissance. My favorite books on this topic attached
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

"My daughter caught measles when she was seven. I remember not feeling particularly alarmed about it. Then one morning she said, 'I feel all sleepy,' and she went into a coma. In an hour, she was unconscious. In twelve hours she was dead." Roald Dahl on his daughter Olivia
Don’t fall for the fear campaign...what is MEASLES?...a fever, a cough, a rash, runny eyes & runny nose. -Dr. Sherri Tenpenny "The measles vaccine came out in 1963. In 1962, the death rate from measles was two in a million.” "So it was not even deadly BEFORE we had a vaccine." IF YOU FEAR MEASLES... You must not know that even in the 60s, before the vaccine, the survival rate was over 99.9%. You must not know that the MMR is a live virus vaccine & can cause measles. You must not know that the MMR vaccine is linked to 2,657% MORE DEATHS than measles since 1995. You must not know that it's a very mild childhood illness for well-nourished children. You must not know that natural measles infection provides lifelong immunity, unlike the vaccine. You must not know that there are huge lifelong health benefits to getting measles, including a lower risk of cancer, lower risk of heart disease & stronger immune resilience. You must not know that the MMR insert lists over 60 serious adverse events, ranging from encephalitis, seizures & death. You must not know that studies show Vitamin A drastically reduces measles complications-yet public health officials ignore it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Pre-vaccine US: ~400-500 measles deaths, 48k hospitalizations, 1k encephalitis/yr (~2/M). Vaccine cut >99%. 2657% uses unverified VAERS (not causal) vs rare measles deaths. MMR rarely mild symptoms. Benefit claims weak; measles causes immune amnesia. cdc.gov/measles/about/… ourworldindata.org/grapher/measle…

RFK Jr. is definitely coming for your vaccines (part 13): The NIH “Vaccinology and Immunology Center”: NIH has been studying vaccine adverse events for years, and new clinical trials should be science-based. sciencebasedmedicine.org/rfk… via @sciencebasedmed @gorskon

It could have, yes. But in BC rabies is not sustained in skunks…they can transmit it but it burns out. Sequencing of rabies found in skunks in BC usually shows they were infected with bat lineages.

My husband spent 10 days creating this short 3D cartoon using Maya + Claude, bringing my original 2015 vaccine comic book to life! 🎬🦠 And this is his very first attempt! 🥹👏 Voice-over from my little 9-yo niece, Nuna. How many ❤️ can we get for their hard work with just one tweet? (on the original YouTube, please) Come on, X, show him some love! 🚀 #EndPolio #vaccineswork youtube.com/watch?v=KZL2Xuzy…

📍. 🧵👇 🚨🚨
📢A skunk that bit multiple people in downtown Vancouver has tested positive for rabies. Health officials are searching for others who may have been exposed. The interesting detail? In BC, rabies is maintained in bats, not skunks or other terrestrial mammals. 🧵
