Thank you @SecKennedy! “Americans are going to buy these anyway.”
Time to create a safe marketplace for peptides in America! I tried to do this in California but I couldn’t even get a hearing on my bill. But fortunately, RFK Jr to the rescue.
.@SecKennedy on peptides: "The Trump Administration believes in freedom of choice... Americans ought to be able to get them, but they should be able to get ones where they know what the purity is and they know that they have come from a safe environment."
Wow
Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.) Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected noncitizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens’ votes are being diluted in California.
Love to see @HarmeetKDhillon on 60 minutes. The answer to the first question is absolutely on point.
Sending monitors to election polls does not sow distrust in elections—quite the contrary!
Tonight on @60Minutes, I explained it is routine for @theJusticeDept to monitor election sites to repair the distrust already present in the system due to voting irregularities.

Wow. It appears Richard Pan hired an LA actress to pretend to be a disabled senior and say she would "disown" me if I were her grandson. If true, this is disqualifying.
Did Richard Pan hire a professional actress from LA to pretend she is a senior in a wheelchair in an ad against @KevinKileyCA? 🧵

I found this professional actress (Conn Barrett) on IMDB with her own teaching studio 321talentshowcase.com/instru… and Drama Reel youtube.com/watch?v=4LS8nS1R… If this is true, it’s definitely a new low as he continues his lies against my Congressman.
Why do social media products always say “Joe tagged you in their post” or “Joe updated their status.”
People specifically list pronouns. This may be an attempt to be PC…. But in the process, gets just about everyone’s pronoun wrong.
Should be… “Joe updated HIS status.”
This is because if you DARE talk about potential health risks of taking birth control at such a young age (even when not sexually active), you will be cut off from society as some kind of political extremist.

Love how this guy says “some evidence” they promote cancer (perhaps true w some), yet totally dismissed benefits. Fact is, there isn’t proven clinical data to support either for many peps
Next to 0 anecdotal evidence of cancer risk and millions of pieces of anec data of benefit

SAYS PEPTIDES LIKELY NOT DELIVERING THE BENEFITS THAT THEY PROMISE
SUGGESTS THERE IS SOME EVIDENCE THEY MAY PROMOTE CANCER

After 3.5 years of working out every single day, thru sickness, and international travel, etc etc etc… I ended my streak. Took a day off.
Out with old habits. In with the new. Starting over today, but won’t be so obsessive.
My son’s Jr Pee Wee football team finished the regular season outscoring opponents 282-0 😳
My son is one of the smallest kids in his first year on a pretty experienced team, so he didn’t get a ton of time but it was still great to see him grow with this group

Was just talking to @femalelongevity about this on her pod
Theorized that birth control should lead to thymus shrinkage
Now we seem to have data to support that
Uh oh
Does using birth control early in life accelerate the speed of immune function deterioration. If yes, then it would likely be associated with women dying younger.
The following pre-print is a great start into answering the question. The small study found smaller thymus in women on birth control compared to women not on birth control. Credit to @AbudBakri for curiosity in the importance of the thymus.

Looking forward to hearing what @billessayli has to say.
I’m born/raised in Napa. Have lived in Lincoln… and now represent Lincoln. One thing is for sure - Mike is pretending to care about the new parts of his district (Lincoln). Mike has represented my family in Napa for a very long time- many of them who are Mexican and some who his office assisted with visa applications. My mom, for example, is a Democrat - her and her neighbors are all voting for Eric Jones.
But for a guy who will need Republicans to win, Mike hasn’t even reached out. In fact, is precinct walking with my opponent who is running in a R+11 seat. Seems politically dumb.
Fact is, he doesn’t care about the Lincoln portions of the district. Right out of the gate, he is choosing partisan politics over working with electeds in the area. Is that the kind of guy he is?
I don’t know Eric well. But what I do know is he has at least reached out. We had coffee for an hour and he continues to reach out on a regular basis. If he were elected, I’m sure we will disagree on a lot. Like a LOT. But at minimum, he is showing a desire to work with me… which we will need to help Lincoln grow and thrive.
No this isn’t an endorsement. Just my observation.
New Leadership Now, a SuperPAC backing progressive populist Eric Jones in a D vs D race against #CA04's Mike Thompson, is running ads attacking Thompson as a 'liberal Democrat' backed by Gavin Newsom and Nancy Pelosi who supports sanctuary cities and voted against deportations in a fairly shameless attempt to attract GOP votes.

The @SacBeeEditBoard & our @mcclatchy colleagues endorsed Herb Morgan for state controller. Malia Cohen wouldn’t meet with us either

I want to be clear: I would have preferred not to make this video. I am sharing it to explain my upcoming coverage of the race for California state controller, including my efforts to interview incumbent Malia Cohen (D-CA) and why my candidate interview coverage of this office will feature only her challenger, Herb Morgan (R-CA).
I would have preferred to produce a piece giving both candidates equal time. Those are journalistic values that guide me every day. After weeks of outreach and back-and-forth with Cohen’s team, a Zoom interview was scheduled, then abruptly canceled by her team. I was told she had no availability to reschedule before the election.
Her team said I could submit written questions for Cohen to answer in writing. I respectfully declined because I wanted voters to hear directly from her on camera, with the opportunity for follow-up questions.
I told her team multiple times I wanted to ensure voters heard her side, her priorities, and answer why she deserves a second term in office. I made every effort to make that happen.
Fairness is always my priority. My goal was to give both candidates the same opportunity to discuss their records, answer meaningful and tough questions, and speak directly to voters. I regret that I could not make that happen, but voters deserve transparency about the process.
When your opponent runs against you a second time (62-38 in 2022) and has no accomplishments other than failed business and unemployment, they often resort to misinformation.
(PS - name some times when ICE has “raided” schools in the district?)
Eytan would give the most fair interview any elected official could expect. Never any “gotcha” questions. I’d be willing to bet all questions would be pretty straightforward. Should be no problem.

A joke. Niners beat the top-2. Bills beat #1 (now with 2 losses to the Niners 0), and they drop a spot. So weird.
