There are now 642k Texans who have early voted who did not vote at all in the 2024 Presidential election. 48% of them (310,997) are Hispanic. And 39% (122,461) of those Hispanic surge voters are under the age of 30.

To my surprise the vitriol sparked by the reporting of polling data has been surpassed this past week by the response to reporting of Texas’ Early Vote turnout data, which has showed a fluctuating daily snapshot of trends.

As turnout in Texas nears 3 million votes, Hispanic turnout is now exceeding presidential levels. More Hispanics have voted than did at this point in the 2024 presidential election. What's driving this huge increase? Young voters.
