Louisville freshman Obinna Ekezie Jr. reclassed from the '27 class to '26 to play this season for the Cardinals and was arguably the best player on the floor on the road against Kansas 🔥

Dominant offensive rebounding performance from Florida State freshman Marcis Ponder
The 7-0, 285 pound freshman was ultra dominant crashing the glass using his monster frame to bully Auburn’s frontcourt
Ponder had 13 points, 21 rebounds (12 offensive rebounds) 3 blocks, 83% at the line, in just 25 minutes
Brought tremendous effort on both ends, had better processing today, capable free throw shooter, draws a lot of contact and was a massive boost for Luke Loucks squad.

I asked Rick Pitino, who coached in the NBA near the height of the league's popularity, why college basketball's popularity is at an all-time high while interest in the NBA is declining.
"The resurgence of St. John's."

Barkley dropped truth 💯
We used to CELEBRATE coaches like Pitino & Izzo. Now it’s clip-chasing to shame greatness 🤦♂️
Players don’t need soft… they need being coached hard and accountability . They need adversity. That’s LIFE.

To Coach Cal’s point, High Point is a mid-major in the metrics. Not in the money.
I’ve called numerous games at High Point. It is a gated campus with a country club vibe. Its on-campus facility is a mini-NBA arena, unmatched at their level, and better than many in the power conferences.
The investment in the program allows them to mitigate churn by retaining some talent and replenishing the rest.
This is High Point:
