To be honest, having Justin Wu back at the @PiCoreTeam might really make a lot of difference. From the community side, we all still remember how his impact felt for pioneers, community leaders, and developers.
At this stage of Pi Network, with all the resource growth that has happened, Pi could really use his vigour. We need it @nkokkalis @Chengdiao
I'm just keeping it real. I've tried my best to keep pushing $pi publicly, grow the ecosystem and most importantly create meaning for pioneers.
I'm also not new to this industry either. I've seen and work with many other layer 1s, 2s etc

Pi Network is introducing the first-ever Pi Ecosystem Summit, a three-day online event on November 17โ19, 2026!
While Pi Day and Pi2Day celebrate progress across the broader Pioneer community and network, the Pi Ecosystem Summit will focus on developers, the Pi platform, and the apps and utilities they build to serve Pioneers and expand Pi's utility.
The Summit will feature new platform announcements, developer tool demos, partner and community app showcases, conversations with developers, and details about an upcoming all-new Pi hackathon.

I like this update. It reminds me that Pi has not changed. It is still that non-conformist Pi that follows its own principles.
Yes, some people may respond with less enthusiasm now than they did in the past when new introductions followed such principles, but it's only because they're tired of the long haul. And I do recognize that PCT is continuing to buy (intentionally delay) time with how they schedule the updates. Otherwise, I think this is an interesting update.
It's interesting to see the @PiCoreTeam emphasize that they intend for Pi to remain the primary crypto of the network, while stablecoins play a complementary role.
They say that Pi's design and approach to integrating stablecoins will be different from how other networks have integrated stablecoins, because "simply adding a stablecoin does not guarantee that it will naturally complement Pi."
So the OUSD stablecoin will not takeover completely from Pi in functionality. It seems Pi may retain some exclusivities in the broader ecosystem.
This is also another confirmation that Pi is not a stablecoin like the GCV people keep wanting to believe, there is no dual-value, and anyone who has been pushing these narratives is a charlatan.
