Part of my morning commute on the @MTA @NYCTSubway F line. No one on the train said or did anything to stop it, except one elderly lady towards the end. This harassment went on for about 15 minutes. Not a single @NYPDTransit officer in sight. @NYPDHateCrimes #JewishAndProud

Stopped by the Boro Park Hatzalah with @SEichenstein and local neighborhood chiefs. I got to hear more about their communication system, visit the dispatch room, and witness these amazing volunteer emergency responders in action.

Honored to join Governor @KathyHochul as she visited Boro Park today. We toured Hatzolah’s HQ and monitored its new state-funded encrypted GPS radio system. We also met with yeshiva administrators who expressed their appreciation for her commitment to security funding, childcare and opting in to the federal scholarship tax credit program. Thank you, Governor! We won't forget how you stood by us and we will always appreciate your continued support.

Look at the graffiti stamp on the window. “PalAction” is designated as terrorist organization in UK under the Terrorism Act. Keep this $hit out of the USA.
The vandalism and destruction at the Capital One branch on 86th Street is deeply disturbing and unacceptable. I have been in contact with the NYPD regarding this incident and have urged an immediate investigation, including whether this is a potential antisemitic hate crime. There is no place for hate, intimidation or violence in New York City.

After finally tracking down Troi this morning, the @FedEx guy who was caught having way too good of a time jamming to RTVT, there was no way we were going to put off meeting him! We went straight to see him, and of course, had to sing RTVT together! 🎥: Chaimish

“They shot me in the legs. They murdered everybody. I’m not going to make it.” On Oct 7, when rocket sirens broke out, Amit Man, a medic, ran to Kibbutz Be’eri Medical Clinic to help. She spent hours desperately treating the critically wounded while Palestinian terrorists slaughtered her friends and neighbors. Amit knew they were nearing her clinic and could have fled, but she heroically refused to leave the injured and dying behind. Everyone in the clinic, including the helpless and sick, were murdered when Palestinian terrorists broke inside.

Every Jew can remember exactly where they were when they heard the news about the Hamas terror attacks of Oct 7th. It was a clarifying day for many of us. We now know who our friends are and who our enemies are. We're not going anywhere, and we will remember forever. We literally have holidays that are thousands of years old commemorating the enemies we defeated. עם ישראל חי

New Yorkers, a storm is arriving today. Don't travel if you don't have to. Never drive or walk through floodwater. Call 911 if you are in danger, and report nonemergency issues to 311. Look out for one another and stay safe.

For you and your family's safety, right now is your last chance to get ready before the nor'easter arrives. Here's what to expect today: 💨 A Wind Advisory starts at 2 p.m., with gusts of 40 to 50 mph that could bring down trees, limbs, and power lines. 🌧️ Rain moves in this afternoon and evening. It's the start of 2 to 3 inches through the weekend. 🌊 Coastal Flood Warnings begin at 6 p.m. for Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, with a Coastal Flood Advisory for Manhattan. Minor to locally moderate flooding is possible around tonight's high tide: about 7 to 8 p.m. on the south shore, and around midnight in the Bronx and northern Queens. Secure loose outdoor items and charge your devices now. If you park on a street that floods during coastal flooding, move your car before tonight's high tide. Never walk or drive through floodwater. Text NOTIFYNYC to 692-692 for alerts. Basement apartment residents should sign up at nyc.gov/notifynyc and select the basement apartment option to get phone call alerts during flooding.

Keep up the great work @NYCGreenfield @MetCouncil
Cost of everything is up. After announcing energy rebates, @GovKathyHochul helped us hand out food to 1,000 Brooklyn families, part of our 2 million pound YomTov food distribution @MetCouncil. Fruits + veggies paid for by her Nourish NY program. Thank you, Governor!

As America commemorates the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the acts of heroism in the face of unimaginable horror must be preserved because one day there will be no eyewitnesses left to tell us what happened. This is one of those moments: #FDNY firefighter John Morabito was driving toward the World Trade Center when he felt something “slippery and soft” beneath the tires of his fire truck. Then came the horrifying realization: “This is people. We’re running over people.” Moments later, Morabito saw a man emerge from One World Trade Center completely engulfed in flames. His hair was gone. His skin was “dripping like wax.” Morabito and his fellow firefighters rushed to extinguish the flames. Alongside them was a Hatzolah volunteer ambulance and its responders. Hatzolah EMTs and paramedics treated the critically burned patient and expedited his removal to the hospital. The man, burned over 85% of his body, somehow survived. But that decision to stop, treat and rapidly transport him had another extraordinary consequence. It most likely saved the lives of Morabito, his fellow firefighters and the Hatzolah responders themselves. As Morabito later recalled: “He saved my life, this guy. And he probably saved the life of these ambulance drivers as well.” On a morning when thousands were desperately fleeing Lower Manhattan, hundreds of Hatzolah responders were racing toward the World Trade Center from across New York, treating the wounded and transporting them to safety. Twenty-five years later, Morabito’s testimony preserves an often unsung chapter of September 11th: Hatzolah first responders working shoulder to shoulder with New York’s Finest and Bravest amid unimaginable horror. They were there. They saved lives. And in saving this one patient, their own lives may have been saved. For those of us who were there that morning, who witnessed firsthand the horror, the fear and the extraordinary heroism, accounts like Morabito’s carry a particular weight. They are memories we have an obligation to preserve. Future generations should know who ran toward danger when everything was on the line. This too is part of the history of September 11, 2001. #Neverforget #September11
