Plotagon

This was the second script I wrote. I like a lot of Christmas movies, but I tend to lean toward things like “Rare Exports” (2010), “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (1993), and “Krampus” (2015). So it’s probably no surprise I went a little darker with this one.

For the third script in the series, I used these random prompts: Disapproving Father and Plotagon’s Crash Test Dummy (female), Jessica, and Train Compartment. Once the scene came up as the last prompt, the Short practically wrote itself.

The Frankenstein monster is my favorite of the Universal monsters. So when, for this sixth script, I rolled “It’s Alive… Alive!” and Plotagon’s Florist and Revolution Square at Night scene for random prompts, the story hit me like a bolt of lightning.

This was the first script I wrote. Troll, one of the prompts I rolled, immediately made me think of the film TROLL (2022). I also love giant monsters, so making this Short about a behemoth was pretty much a foregone conclusion. The Meadow in Winter scene sealed the deal.

I’m grateful to our outstanding Community Manager, Helena, and @Plotagon for giving me the opportunity to put my work in front of a larger audience. And to everyone who’s watched, liked, subscribed, commented, or simply stopped by, thank you. I hope LTO… fires your imagination.
