DOGESC notes the Legislature passing a DOGE bill to address out of control agencies. Hmm? Who created the 59% growth in the General Fund over the last 4 years? So, the folks who created this now want to make this more efficient with a commission? I have run businesses in the private sector for decades and if I ever want to do nothing, I will hire a consultant or create a commission. Even worse, I will hire the same consultant or commission that created the problem in the first place. Legislative commissions create reports that go nowhere. Talking points with no action. I think we call it lipstick on a pig. Instead, we need to replace the pig with a chicken by cutting the agency state in half and returning the money to the people. DOGESC does not have commissions and studies. We have a grass roots movement committed to returning money and power to the people, Instead of studies, we are developing AI tools that will identify where the money is coming from and going to in a fraction of the time. Another AI tool that identifies discretionary regulations that have nothing to do with the statutes. Unless agencies and regulations are slashed in one half or more and the money returned to the citizen, we are wasting our time. If we want studies, we should dust off the 200 plus pages of studies from the Sanford days that are gathering dust. Old jungle saying: The fox cannot guard the henhouse.
