Are you any more likely to be kicked out of Parliament in the last 100 days?
Has your life improved in the last 100 days? In any way?
Have your bills gone down? Do you feel richer? Safer? Has your local community improved at all?
For the average person, the answer is a resounding NO.
Burnham is making tweaks as broken Britain slides further into terminal decline.
He’s a talker, not a doer. He hasn’t changed the country one bit so far, and isn’t going to.
We need fundamental change - and that's what I will bring.
In our first 100 days, we will:
Put the Royal Navy in the Channel and stop the boats forever.
Begin the mass exit of over 1 million people who illegally entered Britain.
We will make it impossible to live here illegally, so many will leave voluntarily. But, make no mistake, the deportation of those who don’t will be enforced.
We will increase your tax-free personal allowance from £12,570 to £15,000 to keep money in your pocket.
We’ll reduce your annual energy bills by £250.
We’ll charge NO interest on loans for nursing students, lift the cap on medical school places and cut student loan issuance by 20%.
If my ministers fail to deliver, I'll sack them. Simple as.
The stakes have never been higher. It's time we have a government that acts like it.

Oxford Street pedestrianised yesterday and, inevitably, 24 hours later, huge queues at the ferry port on the Isle of Wight. Thanks a lot, Sadiq.

Electoral reform junkies will be laying low for a while from today. Full list PR such as that used in Israel is the purest form of their fix and it’s the most embarrassing. Fetishising proportionality over accountability is hard to defend.
I do wonder if the popularity of Burnham is partly a response to the unpopularity of Starmer: I’m not saying Burnham is Jesus but was the latter a kind of shit John the Baptist?
New post: that more people have paid attention to Burnham's announcement on the banning of loudspeaker music on public transport than any of the conference speeches Keir Starmer gave tells you a lot about how receptive voters have been to our new PM:

A truly nauseating American story of Christianity (sic), about four divorces, and two rather convenient redemptions. nytimes.com/2026/10/27/us/ke…
Cheapskate Farage has bought one of those enamel poppers which you only need to buy one and then you don’t need to buy any more ever again. It’s a national disgrace.
This is a bogus talking point that only political parties indulge in and even then only for rhetorical purposes; that journalists echo it just shows their superficiality or partisanship or both.
More of this now on @GBNEWS now on Good Afternoon Britain with me and the great @CarverEmily 👇
The logic of this is no govt can explore different policies to the ones in their manifesto, even if they’re not going to enact until they’ve been endorsed by another election victory. It’s quite pathetic rhetoric from a political party but from a journalist it’s rather sad.
This is extraordinary. Where is the mandate? The PM was elected by 25,000 voters in Makerfield 100 days ago today - and now this in the @Telegraph. 👇

Driving is free? I’d better get in touch with the car manufacturers and the oil companies and demand a refund.
Replying to @parr_craig61423 @MayorofLondon
Driving everywhere is free private mobility. Public mobility makes people dependent on public provision. And why then is decent public transport now banned from Oxford Street?
