The best Christmas present ever. I got a guide dog.
We qualified just before Christmas. We are having a blast together.

On 19 July 2024, I published two posts on my X account in which I made allegations about Mr Mothin Ali being involved in the Harehills riots. I have accepted these were incorrect and I have jointly made a statement in open Court in order to apologise to Mr Ali and correct the record which is below.

Louise Mensch to Piers Morgan on his past tabloid coverage of Countess Spencer:
"What you did do as the editor of the News of the World is publish very intrusive photographs of then Countess Spencer at a clinic... Lord Spencer complained about you to the PCC, and it was upheld."

Featured in The Times today, the yob behaviour of stag hunters culminating in the hunted stag being forced to jump screaming followers to escape. This footage was shown to the British Deer Society who condemned stag hunting as a form of deer management. thetimes.com/uk/environment/…
I loved school dinners. I would swap my main course for an extra pudding. I still love cake and custard.

Happy 12th anniversary to the #InvictusGames that began it all.
The Invictus Games London 2014 turns 12 today, and we love looking back at an event filled with so many iconic moments, when the city of London came together to support the Invictus Community at such a pivotal moment.
The Invictus Games are about Changing Lives and Saving Lives through the power of sport, and we are honoured to continue that work today, using sport and adventurous challenge to support recovery and rehabilitation for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.
On #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, we also remember members of our community we have lost over the years, while recognising the impact that sport, connection and the Invictus Spirit can have on those who are struggling. #WSPD26

Two ITV-commissioned daytime programmes discussing disability benefits, and once again, disabled people are left dealing with the consequences.
On Loose Women, PIP was wrongly described as being for people unable to work because of physical or mental health conditions.
It isn’t. PIP is not an out-of-work benefit. You can work and claim PIP.
Then Jeremy Vine gives us “entitlement”, young people, mental health and, unbelievably, sticks again.
Debate welfare reform all you like, but surely national broadcasters have a responsibility to get the basic facts right first?
If you're going to talk about PIP, please learn what PIP actually is.

This is a Street Scar. They’re common across many British high streets & side streets, particularly visible when the street surface is stone or setts as here. They exist due to an error in legislation which has frozen the maximum fine on utility firms who don’t do their job….

Great to hear Paul from Essex explaining how people on benefits are not scroungers @JeremyVineOn5 Paul is 64 with health issues and like so many people in their 60s, can't get a job.
He worked for many years, was in the military, yet every time, parties like the Conservatives and Reform target people like him.
This picking on people who are already struggling has to stop. Tax the wealthy. Not to punish them but the people with the most need to pay more.

There have been up to 16 separate confrontations between Kellerman and various local businesses regarding her dog. She’s a serial litigant, and even got the wrong charity at first and left them with a £7K bill by the time she noticed. 🤬🤦🏻♀️ #ClaireKellerman

Sky's @ConnorGillies visits the remote island where the community centre is facing bankruptcy after refusing entry

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Locals allege the dog killed the cafe cat and attacked animals; Kellerman denies, saying a cat attacked her. It is owner-trained. She first sued the wrong body, costing £7k unrecovered via legal aid. Community raised over £50k crowdfunding.

These people who just churn out smears to protect the billionaires day in and day out.

When is a freebie not a bribe?
MPs should publish their freebies within a week of accepting them to improve public trust, a former head of the standards watchdog has said.
Sir Alistair Graham, the chairman of the committee for standards in public life from 2003 to 2007, said the current culture left the public feeling that “all politicians are in it for themselves” ⤵️
