EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.

Seeing lots of people asking what's wrong about ICE telling noncitizens they can't vote. If that pretty picture was what is actually happening, just honest advice to voters, it would be one thing. But of course, we all know that's not what's happening & a federal judge has now told DHS to stop.
When ICE goes out & “warns” noncitizens they can’t vote, it’s not a benign experience. In context of all that’s happening, it’s frightening & it’s meant to intimidate lawful voters who don’t want to get mixed up with the powers that be. That’s the lesson the history of the civil rights movement & a failed prosecution Jeff Sessions conducted as a US Atty teach us. Read about it here: joycevance.substack.com/p/th…
