Alberta. Talked to a buddy, he told me east Indians are destroying the housing construction industry.
Uncutting all trades with low cost labor from temporary workers and they are being subsidized by the federal gov't on wages. In addition the quality of workmanship is far below Canadian standards. Most of the employees are completely untrained and unqualified.
Building inspectors off the record say they have never seen so many mistakes in home construction.
Everyone is super concerned about the outcomes.

If even highly qualified professionals are struggling, what does that say about Canada's economy?
We've expanded the labour supply, corporations continue looking for cheaper labour, and Canadians are left questioning the value of years of education and hard work.
The Canadian social contract was simple: study hard, work hard, get ahead.
What happens to a country when that promise stops delivering?
And what incentive does the next generation have to spend years pursuing higher education if even the gold standard no longer opens doors?

She came to Canada from Africa a few months ago with her husband and kids. In 1 week, she showed off the food she was served in a restaurant then showed off the free food she went to get at the food bank.
How many Canadian families can afford a sit down meal at a restaurant? How many Canadians are 1 paycheque away from homelessness? How many Canadian seniors, who've paid into the system their whole lives, can no longer afford their rent? How many disabled Canadians are left without enough funds for food?
We're importing leeches of the system who have NO shame to show off all of the "free" stuff they think they have a right to. This is an absolute insult to all Canadians!
If mainstream media wants to continuously publish stories about the rise in foodbank visits, they should start doing their due diligence to see just how many immigrants are abusing a system that was meant to help CANADIANS in need.
