Venables is clueless. That's his problem. He says at the beginning he says it was bad football defensively and offensively in the first half. He then points out all of the flaws of our defense. Then says the offense couldn't get any rhythm in the first half. The offense couldn't get rhythm the whole game, actually hasn't had any rhythm for a couple of years. The only rhythm we got against South Carolina was a little in the fourth quarter when they had their second and third string in. That's his problem. He doesn't recognize the problem. He doesn't see the forest for the trees. And he can't admit failure. That's why he needs to go.

When was the last time OU had a receiver that we recruited out of high school, that stayed with OU his entire college career and went on to play in the NFL
I started messing with AI making videos. This is one I did about the Wichita Mountains. I'd appreciate it if you would take a look.

Venables should have brought in an experienced, veteran offensive coordinator and let him bring his own people. If he had done that we wouldn't be in this predicament.

For some reason I think he'll be another Davis Beville. Having said that I'm reminded of what Bobby Knight said “The greatest motivator in the world is your ass on the bench. Ass meets bench, bench retains ass, ass transmits signals to the brain, brain transmits signals to the body, body gets ass off bench and plays better. It's a hell of a sequence.” Maybe Mateer needs to ride the pine a bit.

If execution isn't being done at a high level in games, then it's probably not be done at high levels in practice. Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. I suspect sub par execution is being permitted in practice.

I'm asking for your help.
@KingTheoVol is in a fight for his life. Literally, for his life. He needs 10's of thousands of dollars to make it and I can't do it alone, but maybe we can.

I don't know this young man well, but I know him enough to know the world is better with him in it.
Thank you.
We can't keep their hitters off the bases and we can't buy a base hit. That's happened far too often this year.
