🇮🇳 Durga Puja Celebrated. Duty Delivered. Humanity Served. 🇮🇳
Nearly 275 NCC cadets of 11 Bengal NCC Battalion, NCC Group Darjeeling, under the aegis of NCC Directorate West Bengal & Sikkim, stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the Police & Civil Administration across Malda and Raiganj, ensuring seamless crowd management, traffic regulation and assistance to elderly devotees. In a heartwarming act of compassion, cadets also reunited a missing child with his family, turning distress into joy!
As the festive fervour fades, their selfless service shines as a testament to the NCC ethos—discipline in action, compassion in service and patriotism beyond the parade ground. 🇮🇳 NCC — Service Before Self. Nation First.

India’s defence sector is witnessing a decisive shift from nomination to competition, and from public-sector exclusivity to a more open, competitive and innovation-driven ecosystem.
India’s defence ecosystem is undergoing a fundamental transformation.A paradigm shift is now underway.
A system of de facto product reservation, which created public-sector monopolies such as HAL in military aircraft, BDL in missiles, and MIL in explosives and propellants is now steadily giving way to an increasingly level playing field for private enterprise across each of these domains.
The direction is unmistakable and India is moving from nomination to competition, and from public-sector exclusivity to a far more open and competitive defence industrial ecosystem.
If we sustain this momentum, India can rapidly move from being one of the world’s largest defence markets to becoming one of its leading defence producers, innovators and exporters.
